The short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu treats you to a 13km hike along parts of the most famous trail in Peru. Over 2 days, you will embark on a journey through Inca history, whilst visiting the impressive sites of Chachabamba and Wiñayhuayna.
After enjoying spectacular views of agricultural stepped terraces, cloud forests and glistening waterfalls, you will take lunch amongst the breathtaking ruins of Wiñayhuayna. Followed by a hike to the Inti Punku Sun Gate for your first panoramic view of the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu!
After we take nice photos of the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, you will end the day at the Puente Ruinas camp, near to the town of Aguas Calientes. Your personal chef will await you will a freshly cooked dinner, and your porter will settle you into your tent for the night. The following day you will have the oportunity to have a guided tour to visit the most important temples and palances of this inca city Machu Picchu.
