A great adventure through the forests and valleys of Argentine Patagonia, where we can observe the famous Fuegian mobs, beaver trees, rivers and lakes. A magical walk, surrounded by the Andes Mountains, until we reach Laguna Esmeralda.
We will leave Ushuaia via Ruta 3. After listening to the guide's instructions on our 4.7 km walk, we will enter a forest of Lengas, walking on spongy soil, known as turbas. We will follow the banks of uniquely colored streams. Soon we will come across the beavers, dams built by beavers.
Our guide will pause to tell us this history and characteristics of the region's flora and fauna.
After a 2-hour walk with stops, we will arrive at the famous Laguna Esmeralda, which is fed by the imposing Ojo del Albino glacier, one of the most beautiful postcards of Argentine Patagonia
We will take a snack break while listening to interesting facts about this region, and then our walk back.
