Northern Lights and Chena Hot Springs Tour from Fairbanks

Then enjoy some dinner in the resort's restaurant (not included in price) and take a dip in the outdoor mineral rock pool or just explore the grounds while you wait to see if the lights appear. Your guide will lead your group out to the springs and explain the most ideal viewing locations, where you can wait for a chance to glimpse the multicolored display in the sky. Round-trip transport from Fairbanks or North Pole hotels, entry to the ice museum and hot springs is included. Note: the resort does not allow children under 18 in the outside rock pool. However, they may use the indoor pool under adult supervision.

Chena Hot Springs Tour

After being picked up, sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as you are transported the 60 miles east to the Chena Hot Springs Resort. Keep an eye out for wildlife and you may even spot a fox, beaver or moose along the way. After arriving at the resort, start your day off with a tour of the Aurora Ice Museum, constructed out of over 1,000 tons of ice and snow. Marvel at ice sculptures by world-renowned carvers. If you're feeling adventurous, sample an Appletini in a hand-carved ice glass (not included in price and photo ID required). Soak in the pool of the Hot Springs, explore the many trails around the resort or take a tour of the greenhouse and geothermal energy plant. Lunch at the excellent restaurant is not to be missed where you can enjoy some Alaskan seafood or vegetables grown in the local greenhouse (optional and not included in price). Chena Hot Springs Shuttle from Fairbanks

Is your group looking for a way to reach Chena Hot Springs Resort, 60 miles east of Fairbanks? Airlink Alaska can transport groups of any size to and from the hot springs. Our round-trip tour departs at 10 a.m. and returns at 5:00 p.m. Your group will have enough time to swim or soak in the hot springs, explore the year-round ice museum and even attend the free geothermal tour at 2 p.m. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes each way. There is an excellent chance to see moose along the Chena Hot Springs road leading to the resort. Our chartered van is a great way to get two or three birds with one stone: see a moose, bathe in the therapeutic hot springs and see the northern lights (during the winter).
