Do you love to see the tulips and other spring flowers but don’t want to be in a massive crowd? The Poldertuin is a beautiful garden ('small Keukenhof') with spring flowers. From mid-March to mid-May the garden is in bloom and at its best. Most of the tulip fields are in this area. Great for making pictures! We drive through and visit quaint little villages, where it feels as though you are traveling back in time. We make stopovers in less touristy gems, such as De Rijp, Driehuis and Beemster. We will visit a windmill from the 17th century that was responsible for regaining land. As both of us grew up in and around windmills, we know everything about them. It's in our family genes. The windmillgirls have great stories that we would love to share with you! What more could you want than to be guided by a miller's daughter and granddaughter?! Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between the bulb fields. These boat trips are referred to as whisper trips, due to the boat's electric motors.
