There is now a US ban on all electronic devices larger than a mobile phone covering flights from around 10 different airports, a UK ban has also been put into place with the possibility of the Canadian Government following suit.
The UK Government has stated it will affect 14 carriers with direct inbound flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. Larger electronic devices will have too now be checked through baggage.
The deadline is 07:00 GMT on Saturday the 25th of March 2017 with no official end date.
