The Whitehorse International Airport or Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport is located in Whitehorse in the Canadian province of Yukon. It is located just under 6 kilometres from the centre of the city, and has an IATA code of YXY. The airport was actually named to honour one of the Yukon's long serving members of Parliament, Erik Nielsen.

The airport handles just under 300,000 passengers annually. It was built hack in the early 1940's by the Canadian Department of Transport, and then handed over to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 as part of the Northwest Staging Route. It was however5 handed back to the Department of Transport in 1968, and resumed being a commercial passenger airport.

There are also a range of other smaller charter companies that operate from the airport. The airport also serves a refuelling and rest point for private pilots making the trip in and out of Alaska.
