He painted several famous art pieces in Auvers sur Oise (80 to be exact). He died in 1890 and was buried in the village along with his brother Theo. Our walk will also take you through the city of Pontoise, the countryside of the Vexin , in the quaint village of Auvers sur Oise and along the Oise river until the village of Meriel, where we take our train back to Paris. PLEASE BE ADVISED that this is a 7.5 miles HIKE with some hills. You need to be fit enough if you want to enjoy the walk.
