The experience of watching 40 foot (12 meter) whales from a 24 foot (7 meter) Zodiac raft is something you'll never forget! Following Hawaiian Marine Park laws of stopping at least 100 yards (90 meters) away from these magnificent animals, you get a close up look at the migrating humpback whales. It is not uncommon for them to be curious about the raft and come right under the boat!

Saw lots of whales doing different moves. The zodiac raft was cool and fast and felt perfectly safe. Jason and Marco, our captains were knowledgeable and fun.

Marco and Jason were a terrific crew. They were great drivers and full of jokes. We saw tons of whales and dolphins. They gave great recommendations of where to go in Kona town and what to do on the island. 10/10

We did see several humpback whales and dolphins. Nonetheless, whales were all somewhat distant and the visuals were difficult to be captured via camera on smart phone.
Knowing that we cannot force the marine mammals to come closer, I’m not taking one star off due to this. The fact that the agency put a total of 16 tourists on one boat is not very ideal… the boat is too small to accommodate that amount. I would say 12 tourists per boat should be the maximum to ensure comfortable seating.

What an amazing time!! Ashley and Pat were the best, with lots of information! The whales gave us an amazing show along with Ashley and Pat who were not afraid to stay extra time or go beyond to make sure we got our moneys worth!

A great company for whale watching tours on the Big Island. Aryn and Jason were very nice, fun and extremely knowledgeable! We saw a bunch of whales, spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. We got to hear lots of whale singing which was incredible.
From Miranda at the check desk to the end of the trip, nothing but smiles from the entire crew, which makes you feel welcome from the moment you step into the office until the end of the tour. The love for the sea is visible among the entire crew.
Thank you Aryn and Lafferty for a fun trip with lots of sightings and laughs!

I liked that it was a small group of people and our Captain (Marco) and his Co-Captain (B) were some of the best out there. Very knowledgeable as well as a kick (cometary was the best!). Highly recommend….
