Since James and Andrew opened our doors in 2012, we have been working hard to preserve one of New Zealand’s most unique and untouched forests. We created this experience to transport you into a Jurassic world, showcasing New Zealand’s unique plants and wildlife. You help this project; your entry contributes back to our conservation efforts to save this ancient world. Thank you for your support!
You will be part of a small group (maximum 10 per group) with two of our knowledgeable kiwi guides who will delight you, making sure you safely enjoy every moment. Ask as many questions as you'd like and capture the moments with pictures and videos (although we have free photos of your experience for you after the tour).

Speeding down zip lines was so fun and the tour guides were so chill. (Alex and Mitch). It wad cool talking to them because they weren't like those boring tour guides that just give rules. The scenery was really cool being above the canopy.

Just give Nelson and Lockey raises. That's it. That's the review. Ok, they need more characters though. What an awesome time we had. From start to finish you feel like you are in the hands of serious professionals. They're Kiwis though so its all done in a laid back, sweet as, kinda way. What I enjoyed about this experience is what we learned about the local flora and fauna and the conservation efforts in New Zealand. It really added to the overall experience. Oh, and they take pics of you and don't ask for a dime! They just send you commemorative pics and don't ask for anything but that you consider your effects on the world around you.

Front desk lady knew who we were before we barely walked in the door and from then on Taylor and Julian both made our experience a memorable one. From Taylor’s corny introductions game on the bus ride, to making sure we were all safe and comfortable on all the zip lines. They both had a nice chilled vibe, being able to crack a few jokes and build a relaxed environment on what can be a stressful time for some. Throw in some fun facts about the Forrest and the conservation efforts to maintain it and it’s a full experience not just all about the thrill. I also had the unique experience of feeding a worm to a North Island Robin which flew down from the branches and snatched it from my outstretched tongue! Thanks guys
