This company cancelled our trip and would not provide a refund as was promised beforehand. Very disappointed and out of pocket tourists. Do not book with this company.

It was a flight of a lifetime for us! The team at GB was efficient, well organised and very professional. We were pleased, and assured, to see that they took great effort to check the weather condition as there was a slight drizzle in the early morning, and the flight eventually took off from another site. Special kudos to Raine - she was very friendly and energetic, and helped to take photos and videos for us and everyone else. It was interesting to watch our pilot Jacob "fly" the balloon as we were just next to him, and he ensured a smooth flight and landing. He even pointed out the hopping kangaroos just before we were landing. The whole experience from the balloon being inflated to assisting in packing up, the stunning views over Yarra Valley, and the floating feeling was truly amazing. Thanks to Theo too, for the safe transfers to and fro CBD. Just 1 comment - the breakfast at Balgownie was average and a little over priced, just because it included a glass of champagne, but the vineyard view outside is very picturesque. We would definitely recommend Global Ballooning!

Safe & Amazing experience and amazing team. Very professional and smooth arrangement, they are very responsive over their App as well to help with any last minute queries. Opted for the breakfast and CBD transfer as well which were both great as well! Highly recommended

What a way to enjoy the view of the Yarra Valley and surrounding suburbs. The team at Global Ballooning were all enjoying themselves and so made it more enjoyable for us. We were on the biggest balloon with the best pilot, Jacob. From the start of helping out to set up the balloon, to the hour flight that didn't feel like that long, to landing, packing up, it was all part of the amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Views were amazing! The pilot was great and I would 100% recommend. At the start, I was a bit nervous but it is so surreal once you’re up in the air. It’s peaceful and I ended up loving it.

Jake piloted a lovely ride over Yarra Valley and kept us informed about what we could see along the way. He also made sure we got some variety: we saw the sun on a cloudy morning, inside a cloud, and 360° views of the farmland below. The experience, including set up, packing away, buffet breakfast, and the transfer with Raine and Mark(?), was worth it for a fun start to my day.

The whole experience from inflating the balloon to packing it up is terrific. It was a foggy morning in the valley so we were truly amazed when the world looked so different above the clouds, it was gorgeous. To watch a new day wake up whilst floating around in the air is magical, plus the fog just added to our whole experience, it didn't take away from it at all. We could see the ranges poking out above the clouds, we could see our shadow on the clouds below us and then when we had to descend, they were all encompassing with no visibility, just the sensation of quietness. Add to that listening to the sound of the burners from other balloons as they were landing around you and trying to focus on where they were because you could hear them before you could see them was like a discovery. All of this as well as the ride back to the vans across the paddocks were what made the whole morning so much fun. From making the booking to eating the breakfast the staff and crew were welcoming, friendly, professional and safe. A big thank you to our pilot Jacob and the ground crew. We chose this to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and I'm so glad we did because we will remember and talk about this for years to come.

It was a cloudy day and the ride got a bit boring! It felt like we just stood still.
Other rides I have been on cover a lot of territory to see the area. We kind of just went in a sloooow circle, not spectacular at all.
But it was fun to help set up and take down.
Our Pilot was great.
Breakfast was good, at a local winery in a beautiful setting! BUT...ony one SMALL glass of champagne was offered.

The pilot was great, he was friendly and answered all of our questions well. The pilot made us feel safe. He knew the area and could point out landmarks, he even took us over a mob of jumping Kangaroos! We loved being involved in the set up and pack up. It was a smooth flight and landing. As a person with mobility issues, I appreciate the availability of the accessibility basket. It made everything easy and the whole team was very helpful. Would highly recommend Global Ballooning!
