We had a trip scheduled. Location and time for pickup was all confirmed and we had to cancel due to weather. Rescheduled for the falling day but they never confirmed with me the original pickup location and time. They changed it and never responded to any of my attempts to correct, now they won't refund my money. DONT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

If you are a fan of geology, then this trip is not to be missed. The andes vary greatly in colour with no 2 peaks the same. The scenery was stunning. The tour guide very helpful. However, a word of warning. If you suffer from altitude sickness fhen beware. I started to feel it from the stop at the natural arch Bridge. And was feeling quite ill by the time I got to cristo redentor. That said, my cousin who was travelling with me was completely unaffected.

Our tour was with Cepa Turismo and was excellent. Rocío the guide spoke good English and did a great job. Carlito the driver was v safe especially on the dirt road to Christ the Redeemer

trust you are doing well. I was full of expectation when I booked the tour from Mendoza to the Mountains "a full-day english guided event in a particular small group with activities like hiking to surrounding Mountains including Aconcagua-View". The day before I had a wonderful afternoon spent on a wine yard in Mendoza with cellar tour and tasting. Extraordinary!!!
To put it straight. I am a Tour Guide for more then 15 years. I worked for a Safari-Company from Cape Town in whole Southern Africa and in 2018 I joined a Tour Operator in Germany. I know exactly how hard we strive to meet customers expectations day by day. But my experience today outside Mendoza was a really dark moment.
To be honest, my expectations were not filled at all. Since I could only book tour via Internet (got to Mendoza on sunday and tourism offices closed) I trusted your well advertised offer. At the end I realised that I payed double the amount of money then my fellow travellers. I call that outrageous or a rip off.
Please read this. In the morning I got to meeting point at Hotel by 7.15 am. Pick-up was arranged by 7.30 am. The bus did not show up by 7.30 and by 7.45 I phoned your office by extra expenses of 8,00 Euro on my phone bill. Then we started for another 30 Minutes to collect more clients in town. It is an unacceptable waste of time. You should have let me know in advance.
At 8.00 am the bus showed up with tour leader Cynthia. Instead of travelling with a particular "small tour group" I ended up in a Mercedes Sprinter with 16 fellow travellers including elder people and Families with babies.
Tour Leader Cynthia could hardly understand me and was not able to transfer information in english to me. We tried the translation-mode of cell-phone, but she failed to press the button for the micro so information was lost again and again.
Next tour-time was stolen on half Hour break at Upsalla for toilet-stop. While walking arround I met other Tour-Guide Bibiana and told her about that I am not happy the way my tour is conducted. She arranged wit Cynthia - since they are working for same company - to take me on her tour-bus. Despite the fact that I ended up on the last row of another fully booked Mercedes Sprinter, squeezed in I was happy to have someone talking english and happy to transfer information to me. Thank you Bibiana for all your efforts!!!
The Stop at the road side for getting a climpse of Mountain Aconcagua went out to watch a massiv mountain range covered in clouds. But anyway, this is part of nature and I am pretty sure that the mountain is still there and will show me its chocolate face when I will get there next time.
Next waste of time was Lunch break at "The Cuevas" for an hour , followed by a sales trip to a chocolates sale and wine tasting close to Border to Chile,
On the way back I was allowed by tour leader Bibiana to take her seat in the front. I realised that the dash-bord of the Mercedes -Sprinter, driven by Mr. Ricardo - was showing more than 6 failure-notes (including ASP, break-system, Light, Liquid supply etc. I asked Bibiana to find out from the driver, if he was aware of the failure-notices, because I felt a bit worried. At a break, when the driver kickt the rattling fender of the vehicle back into its position, he confirmed, that he was aware of failure-notice, but did not care, because he expected the messages to be deleted at next service.
Once again, I am a tour guide and I used to drive the Sprinter myself for yaers. The way Ricardo drove the steep downhill sections from Mountains back to town was not appropriate, he was several times tailgating other vehicles and overspeeding.
That tour left me quiet clueless. I would like to sort out the issue thoroughly. I am far away from flooding the internet with bad comments on your product. But I would like you to reimburse me in a appropriate way for the bad experience and the loss of value of the trip.

If you are a foreigner in Argentina and travel with this company you would be subjected to gringo hate right off the bat. Inexplicably and for no reason. So kindly stay away.
Usually, company employees do not engage in such behavior unless they are emboldened by the corporate culture and know they can do it without being reprimanded. I have reasons to believe that what is described below is the actual Tangol Tours and their subcontractor - Wiphala Tourism corporate attitude towards foreigners.
I was the only foreign tourist in the group and the driver Erik was extremely rude and subjected me to pity vengeance attacks for the whole day. Nobody else was treated this way. Below is the list:
- He always referred to his car as 'my car' and answered with ‘you cannot do it in my car’, implying that the client (me) who paid for the excursion had no voice in it. At least 6 times he refused to close the windows in high altitude conditions when it was very cold outside. Even when he did close it eventually, every time he followed this by increasing the air conditioning cold temperature to compensate for closed windows. HE would feel comfortable, and not his presumed clients. There was not even a dialogue, no explanations, just action to the contrary of client requests.
- I asked Erik the driver to remove the big red ribbon hanging from the mirror so I could take photos through the front glass. I explained that I flew 3000 miles to view the beautiful Mendoza and Alta Montana region and just need to take images. He removed it for 20 minutes and then placed it back when I was not in the van. He repeated the same exercise at least 5 times during the trip, so I had to ask him 5 times. I offered him a compromise – just to move this object to the left side of the window, but he refused and kept it hanging right in front of me so I could not take the pictures. The guide (Jose) tried to intervene and helped me a couple of times but he told me “I’m is in the middle and I’m trying to make everybody happy”. It is really strange that (being a great guide that he is) he tried to make happy the driver who clearly takes personal issue with the company foreign clients.
- By the end of the trip he engaged in personal vindictive attacks and kept the window open on my side and refused to close it. I offered him a compromise – to at least open the window on his side and close it on mine. He refused and kept it open on my end so I would ‘feel it’.
- Eric sometimes engaged in dangerous driving, like putting two elbows on the wheel without his wrist touching the wheel. Not a great feeling either. Also drinking very hot mate tea and holding in one hand while driving doesn’t instill much confidence in the company's services.
- Putting on very loud music when he feels like it with total disregard to passengers is also not a great sign of attention to people in his car.
I’m clearly not going to use this company again and would formally urge Tripadvisor to stop engaging with Tnagol tours and their subcontractor Wiphala as contractors.

It is absolutely great tour if you speak Spanish. But if you expect to get the same information in English you are going to be disappointed. Guide was speaking perfect English but it did not come natural to her to remember that non-Spanish speaking travelers are also there.

This tour should be considered an experience rather than just a tour. Pick up and drop off were right at our hotel door. Our guide, Esteban, and our driver Sergio, were excellent, and the vehicle was very comfortable. Most of the guests were Spanish speaking but Esteban went out of his way to make sure that we English speakers got the full translation. We learned about the geography, the history, and even some local of the music. We went high into the Andes and ate a buffet style lunch (not included) at a local restaurant. Highly recommend this tour, it fulfilled my life long dream of visiting the Andes!

It was an excellent day trip from Mendoza. I booked this tour because I wanted to see Aconcagua mountain, but it was beautiful all the way. The landscape is truly amazing. And our guide Mafalda was amazing too. All the way she provided lots of information about mountains, rock formations, animals, plants and Argentinian history. Thank you very much! Highly recommended tour if you are in Mendoza.

Tour and guide very good. Our only complaint is concerning information about time for pickup. We got information about 7.30 and ordered a taxi for 7.00. Later the day before we got new information with pickup 8.00-08.45 and we hope Tangol will plan the pickup earlier in the future.

The guide was a nice one, his english was not perfect but a good carisma and very knowledgeable. Our only complain is the AC was not working on one side of the mini bus.
