Lo was great! Really knowledgeable about wine and took me on a journey through Portugal via wine. The snacks were complimentary to the one, the cheese especially (won’t spoil why). Her voice is amazing the way she sings these songs will move you. I know that anyone who comes to Porto should book this experience. It’s a beautiful experience and Lo is a beautiful human who will not let you leave there without helping you enhance your experience! Don’t miss out!

In October 2023 we spent 3 days in the extremely tasteful, recently renovated Villa Casa Kala. You can see the passion and attention to detail. The location is perfect: on the one hand very central, on the other hand very quiet. The hosts Rosi and Markus - like the whole team - are very authentic and answer all questions with a lot of added value. The breakfast is very rich with everything you need 😊
The fado presentation with wine tasting was a real highlight including the 'Porto feeling'. Great accommodation in a great city. Hope to see you soon again 👋

Simply marvelous!
Probably the best wine tastings we have been to so far. We are from Venezuela and have travelled to Chile, France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Germany and couple of other places - to taste wine. This is one of the nicest experiences we have witnessed.

I Have Never Been in a Experience Like This Before, Loh is an Amazing singer and she knows a lot of wines from the region so it was a lot of fun but also very interesting at the same time. The place is great and very intimate so you feel very confortable talking to her and the other few guests. I would do it again for sure!

My wife and I, avid wine enthusiasts from California, recently explored Portugal and were blown away by the authenticity of its people, the honesty of its food, and the exceptional quality of its wine. It feels like Portugal's wine scene is an undiscovered gem. On our journey, we were recommended Casa Kala for an unforgettable wine tasting experience. Although we couldn't book a room due to its intimate size, the wine tasting there, paired with Fado music, was absolutely stellar. It's definitely one of our top wine experiences, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
