Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath Tour from London + Admission

The whole trip was well orgainzed and fun. Bath and stonehenge are good attractions, but for winsor castle, it was closed on tue and wed, so we could only hang around the town. We spent 1 to 2 hours at each spot, little bit rush but it's normal as three attractions are included in the same day.
Tour guide Bruce and driver Armundo are friendly and helpful, learnt a lot of great story from Bruce.

We were rushed through everything. We made it back to London by 7:10. The driver and the person conducting the tour were nice. However, they really cut the time we had in Bath short. We barely walked through the city and had to get back to the bus. We were not happy about that.

Had a great day! Tour guide, Danxia and driver Kiran were great hosts! Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, well organized. Been on many other tours, and they are the best we’ve had in years!

Buyer beware! We took this tour on December 25, 2023. While the receipt showed in small print that Stonehenge,  Windsor,  and the Roman Baths would be closed for Christmas, the advertisement waxed eloquent about seeing the Roman Baths and standing among the stones of Stonehenge and speculating on their origins. Nothing in the inclusions listed on the advertisement led me to seek contradictory information in the small print. I did not notice these details until after the refund period had passed. 

What we got for 200 pounds each was a very long bus ride broken up by 45-minute walks through Windsor and Bath,  a quick photo op of the exterior of Salisbury Cathedral, two drives by Stonehenge at about 25 mph with a small glimpse through the rainy bus window, and a mediocre lunch. The one bright spot was the tour guide, Pauly, who was knowledgeable.

I wrote customer service the next day. Here is their email response:

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused however, as this was clearly instructed on our website, we may sadly not offer any refund."

Whatever it was, it was certainly not "clearly instructed" on the website.

This was the only cloud over an otherwise great six-day stay in London.

We went to Bath first. This was the highlight. The town itself and the Roman Ruins were beautiful and interesting. I wish we had more time there. Next we went to Stonehenge. The rocks can be seen from the highway and the ticket entrance only allows you to follow a path to the stones which are roped off so you have to stay back. It was not worth it in my opinion. The biggest disappointment was that Windsor Castle was saved for last. By the time we got to the town it was dark, the castle was closed and we couldn’t even see it from outside. In fact the entire town shut down by 4pm so it was a waste altogether. I feel the tour company should have offered some compensation for this. We did a few day trips on our vacation and this one was the most expensive and most disappointing. I do not recommend.

There are 3 things to see at Windsor; the apartments, the doll house and the chapel. I wish I had known that before the trip. I didn’t get to see the doll house..the one thing I wanted to see..after I knew about it. The “guide” could have been clearer in instructions. He hurried us off of the bus, telling us to rush, rush to the line. Get I front of the other tours. It was crazy. Castle doesn’t open until 9:45. We were in line at 8:30. We needed another half hour here to see everything..

Then Stonehenge was quick. It was fine, got great pictures.

Bath was ok. Exploring the town was unnecessary, unless you wanted to shop. The hot springs were nice to tour. Too much time for just the hot springs tour but not enough time to get a meal.

I would recommend it but with different expectations.
