Dave is a wonderful guide and host. We saw waterfalls, wombats and kangaroos. Not alot of walking and options to sit and wait if you cannot do stairs. Dave is very informed of Australia animals and plants. The small group and bbq were the highlights which made for a great tour.

The tour guide Dave went above and beyond for us to make sure that we all got some delicious dinner after doing some walks to see the waterfalls. He also made sure all of us got photos with the wombats!

It was a great tour. Dave had everything prepared for the tour, snacks, drinks, umbrellas and even power bank. That was brilliant! Dave also tried to talk with everyone in the small group and made sure everyone was in his good hands. He is a professional photographer with no doubts. If you are a wombat lover and love nature. This is definitely the tour you must not miss if you visit in Sydney. Dave, thanks again for being such a great tour guide and took care of us.

This was amazing! I went with my mother, we wanted a tour where you actually got to see the animals up close and not in captivity. We got that and more. Not only did we see vombats and kangaroos up close, we got a great guided tour through national parks, a great dinner and wonderful views. Beautiful day, I can not recommend this trip enough. And if you like wildlife, a great addition to this tour was the Flying foxes bat tour.

We had a great day out with Dave on this tour - we got up close with wombats, saw kangaroos and walked in National parks while Dave told us about the wildlife and we ate and drank well too!
This is a small group tour - max about 12 people - and we were picked up at a choice of 2 city locations late morning and each dropped back close to our accommodation at the end of the tour. Dave kept everyone chatting to him and to each other as we drove, while also pointing out things of interest along the way.
We saw some fantastic views, waterfalls, wildlife etc. After lunching on an "Aussie pie" we made our way via national park walks to the location for our evening BBQ. Dave cooked for us and provided a choice of drinks and desserts. Then we walked a short distance and saw plenty of wombats. They are wild animals but were very placid and we were able to get photos up close without upsetting them. The kangaroos were just hopping around the area too. It was really fantastic to see them in the wild.
This was a really great day out, and I’d recommend it to anyone. We are a retired couple but a lot of the group were younger animal lovers - it wired well for all of us.

The best tour we've experienced. Dave was personable, funny, helpful, solicitous of passengers; he even had everyone's name memorized quickly. The included stops were interesting, and had awesome scenery. Of course, the finale seeing Wombats and Kangaroos in the wild was the culmination of a fantastic tour. The van was comfortable; incredibly Dave provided Wifi, and phone charging ports. Snacks, water, lunch, BBQ burgers for dinnner, including drinks, wine, beer, no need for anything. In addition to the promised beatiful country, and wild animals, the attention to the needs of clients on an all day tour far surpassed other more expensive tours.

This was the best trip during our time in Sydney! For a nature and animal loving couple, we got the best of both worlds. The hikes were brief, but long enough for the beautiful sights. Lunch at the local pie shop was tasty. The BBQ dinner and wombat/kangaroo encounters were top notch. Everything we wanted and more! Our guide Dave was the best guide we’ve ever had on any excursion. His attention to detail and foresight to have things for every contingency was impressive—from snacks, drinks, umbrellas, jackets, phone power banks, WiFi, humor —you forgot or need something, Dave has it! Even his playlist on the ride was fantastic. He is quick to learn everyone’s names and remember them and call you by name the entire journey. He was so kind and full of information. He makes the trip that much better. We definitely recommend this excursion. You won’t be disappointed!

Phenomenonal experience and well worth every penny. Dave was very kind, jovial and knowledgeable and ensured that we did in fact have a most pleasant day on the tour. 10/10 recommend!

We had an exceptional day visiting some beautiful national parks near Sydney and meeting the Wombats and Kangaroos. Dave was a brilliant guide. He is really knowledgeable and all round nice person. We thoroughly enjoyed the barbeque and couldn't recommend the tour more!
