Great small place, my grandchild loved this. Late review as we were here 2019. The layout was perfectly compact, a must see in Sydney!

The kangaroos were cute but I expected to see something more, maybe shows and explanation of the animals. Quite disappointing!

Got to spend a lot of time with the koalas and kangaroos. Staff was so informative, polite and knowledgeable! Nice facility and not so large that we couldn't get it done in the few hours we had.

We visited the zoo as part of our dual pass with the Sydney tower experience. The zoo was just what we expected due to its central location on Darling Harbour. There was a good range of native Australian wildlife all being expertly looked after by the dedicated staff. The highlight had to be seeing the Koalas which were literally only a few feet away.
We spent just over an hour to look round due to it being very quiet, I guess at busy times with queuing it could be a lot long.
Well worth the price and would definitely recommend.

Small zoo but with all the animals worth seeing in Australia, from Wallabies to Koalas, and of course, the Tasmanian Devil. You can walk through it in an hour calmly, the animals are apparently well cared for and the staff is very friendly. It's worth it

We did this because we were staying right next to it and kept looking at it wondering how it would be. We got a multi pass so it wasn't too expensive once you split the cost across the multiple attractions. We were surprised at how good it was for the price. We could find all the animals/insects in the enclosures easily enough. Loved the open wallaby walkthrough and the open koala home. We spent about an hour there and it was nice to wander around this attraction and then step right back out to Darling Harbour and carry on exploring. We went late in the day and had the place to ourselves. We didn't have high expectations based on it's central location, so it was better than expected.

Taronga Zoo Sydney is bigger and has more animals, but if you have a tight schedule, I recommend visiting Wild Life Sydney instead. It is a wildlife park located in the Darling Harbour precinct, on the western edge of the Sydney central business district (CBD).

I was surprised by the size of the building and the variety of Australian-native animals such as koalas, kangaroos, tree kangaroos, wombats, crocodiles, reptiles, and more. Most of the building is air-conditioned, so you need not worry about hot, sunny, or rainy days.

This was exactly what we wanted to see with our limited time in Sydney before going on a cruise ship. It was also close by in Darling Harbour. I felt the price was fair and I was able to see Kangaroos and Kuwala Bears which are only found in Australia.

The place is sizeable and we went early morning when it first opens at 10am. We finished it in 1 hour and that was good for us yet others may take longer.

If you haven't or rarely go to zoos, Sydney Zoo is a great international zoo. We live in Ohio so we have the great Columbus and Cincinnati Zoo
.what the Wild Life Sydney Zoo offers, a quick, up close view of animals found in Australia. It is great! You walk onto paths that have kangaroos wombats roaming free. You can feed the kangaroos with purchase pellets. The problem with that is many of the kangaroos are going to be full at the end of the day. There was also a koala up close picture opportunity. The fee was 25 Australian. Unfortunately, you will NOT be able to hold or touch the koalas. Post the devastating fires in Australia New South Wales has outlawed humans touching koalas. We were able to actually pet a koala at the Lone Pine sanctuary in Queensland. We were just happy to say that we actually visited the Sydney Zoo. Also if you're going on to New Zealand do not buy anything that is made of wood. You will not be able to bring it into New Zealand.
