Cabo Rojo was very beautiful ! Robert was informative. There were some places we weren’t able to see, such as getting up close to the lighthouse, because it was closed due to now being unsafe. The beach was nice. The town of Boriquen was cute, had lots of picture worthy spots. The place Robert took us for dinner was great with great views.

Saw part of the west side of Puerto Rico.
Spent a few hours at a beautiful beach.
Robert took us on a walking tour of several of the beautiful small villages.
Learned so much about history of Puerto Rico . Very enjoyable tour and we highly recommend it.

Good overview Ponce,Boquerone,Cobo rojo to Mayaguez. A lot of history from Roberto about historical figures important to PR. A long day but good. Beach time nice.

I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to fully explain the experience to others so they can decide if they want to book. Nice, knowledgeable guy but clueless.
1) we spent more time in a gas station than 1st town. You barely get out of the van. Horrible planning/itinerary. 1st town was ice cream shop, church and statue back in van. Not sure if it was worth a stop but if you dont walk around and he spends what little time you have in the ice cream shop and satue...who knows. Next stop salt flats where you may or may not be able to walk to the actual pretty area. Otherwise walk around an abandoned building hearing all about salt and back in the van.
We said we wanted to see the beach but not spend 2 hours and he didn't go to the beach at all!! 2nd town would have been only to sample a few food kiosks but we asked for free time since we didn't go to the beach. It was almost impossible to break free from him. Next stop to a restaurant with a beautiful view but nothing else to do.
I have been on many long tours and never experienced anything like this. It should be great little towns or pretty spots to stretch your legs and take photos. He doesnt even think about photo opportunities and drives past.
2) another reviewer complained about the talking and its OK to have a little quiet time. I dismissed because I have had chatty tour guides....he never, never stopped talking. 12+ hours with no longer than 30 seconds without speaking. He's so focused on talking he would just sit in the parked van talking.
3) a car rental would have been 1000% better and cheaper. Roads were better than NY and people drove fine not aggressive as I read. You could drive stop enjoy yourself and go from pretty place to place instead of being held captive.
It's a small island and it took us 12.5 hours to transverse with stops that barely let you leave the van.
Again nice guy but horrible experience.

Roberto was absolutely amazing and so hospitable. He was very knowledgeable about everything and gave me the entire history on Puerto Rico. Book this tour you won’t forget it!!

What a top-notch tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about Puerto Rico history and well in tune about all things Puerto Rico. It was kind of rainy today but didn't matter because there was so much to see and talk about. Our first stop was in Cabo Rojo area getting a sweet treat in town followed by historical explanations in the plaza and lots to see. We also saw the salt flats from an observation tower and discussed about mangroves, crabs, cotton plants, cactus, and a variety of birds. The guide also pointed out where the ligthouse was. We also stopped for a bite to eat and walked about near street food and apparel/gift vendors in another town. I forgot the name of the town I apologize. Overall it was a great day and then we rode back to San Juan. Thank you for a wonderful touring experience!

This was a lovely day. Long drive to other side of the island. Different ecosystem and that was interesting to experience. Great restaurant at end of tour right on the water for sunset

Tour Guide was on time and very knowledgeable about the area, be prepared, it is a full day experience but truly worth it … the restaurant at the end of trip offers fresh seafood and the beach experience was the best. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for activities in the area. Once again truly worth it

Very nice tour! It´s an easy, but long hike to arrive at Faro Los Morrillos lighthouse, I think it took us 1h40 to arrive there. The travel agency provide water and snacks. The south part of the island is much drier than the north, so take a bottle of water with you, at least half a liter, better 1 liter. Take a little snack too. I used a sneaker to hike, and if you feel something stabing your feet, stop and watch the sole of your sneaker. The guide, another tourist and me were with a thorn piercing the sole of our shoes. There are some photos of people walking over the rock bridge, or swiming under it, but the bridge is closed due the earthquakes and there is no a safe way to get down and swin there. The lighthouse is working, but it is closed to visitors, so no bathrooms there. We walked a little bit more and arrived at La Playuela Beach, a very nice place with calm waters. Use a cap and don´t forget the sunscreen. You can take your backpack with you, but because of the long hike maybe it would be better to go with only the necessary stuff. After the long hike back, we went to the restaurant to have lunch, and after that we went to San Juan. This tour was with the very nice guide Roberto, for the second time!

Robert was a great guide and West Side Experience still allowed the tour even though it was a smaller group than normal. We really appreciate the personal experience.
Since we went on Monday, the fisherman's village of Boqueron was mostly closed. It was their resting day but it was still enjoyable for us.
Robert loves to talk but went against his nature and did not talk almost the entire drive back to the resorts. Since it was dark, we utilized the time to catch up with the beautiful photos we took throughout the day and perhaps caught a bit of nap.
