This was an excellent day. Louis was a great tour guide and gave us a lot of history of what we were seeing. We saw some beautiful country.

This is a great tour - highly recommend! Luis is an excellent guide - fun and informative. We enjoyed visit to Gerês Park including the hiking and the old village. Lunch was great - So much good food. Very fun and enjoyable day.

I’ve done a lot of tours while traveling and this one was by far one of the best tours I’ve ever done! Renate was a really informative and friendly guide. I felt like I got to know her and the other people on the tour during the day so it was very personal. The views at the park were amazing and we also got to stop and different viewpoints and visit a local town. I didn’t feel rushed at all and we got to take our time at each spot. The lunch we had was absolutely delicious and they accommodated for dietary restrictions which I really appreciate. Over I would 100% recommend this your, I might even book it again myself the next time I visit Porto.

Luis was an AWESOME tour guide! And an even better driver (super impressive skills in the Land Rover). He shared a ton of interesting historical facts about Portugal beyond what we covered in the national park. The lunch was very tasty. I just wish it had a bit more hiking, that would’ve made it even better!

We had an absolutely awesome time on this trip. Our guide Luis was exceptional and helped my daughter on some tough parts of the hike. He was patient and cheerful. We did three hikes over 10 hours, some over slippery rocks and rough terrain. I think the guides are excellent and tailor the trip based on the participants. Our hike was more on the strenuous side, but we enjoyed it. Just know that it you’re with a fit group, the hikes may be more demanding. Overall, an epic day. Thanks!

Perfect way to end our trip to Portugal! Swimming at the waterfalls was a once in a lifetime experience. But expect some work to get there! The only real complaint I had was the lunch. The sister tour got the expansive table and beautiful view and we sat looking at the parking lot. Maybe work the timing better?? Not a deal breaker - GO!

Visiting the old village of Fafiao and seeing their traditional ways of farming. We had a lovely lunch in a restaurant in the village then on to the stunning waterfalls.

Sometimes dreams come true. With 3 friends we booked the national park tour of Porto adventure.
It was one of the best outdoor experiences ever made. With a landrover we drove into the world of the mountainpeople, iberian wolves, goats, lagoons, and beautiful nature. Our guide Luis was really excellent. He knows everything about the park, the nature, the habits. He showed us wild strawberries, saffron. And after a little walk we could swim in paradise like lagoons and jump safely from some little rocks in the water. We tasted pure local food in a mountain village, visited an old olive oil mill.
All of us 3 felt 20 years younger and fully relaxed after this beautiful day.
In our opinion a must do if you visit porto.

If this was the only activity I did in Porto I would go home happy. Luis is a knowledgeable and empathetic guide. He works to make sure everyone is having a good time and is safe. We visited beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes, enjoyed a delicious and generous lunch and visited a historic village and learned a bit about village life. We also were able to help collect acorns to start new trees and contribute in a small way to keeping Penera-Geres park a healthy ecosystem. During the day it never felt like Luis was doing a job. He made us feel like friends who he was sharing one of his favorite places with. This is a very special tour managed in a respectful and regenerative way. It sets a high bar for any future tours I will take! Thank you Luis and Oporto Adventure tours!
