1. National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
Arrive 15 minutes early to join our small group tour of the National Mall on board our all-electric 7 person vehicle — a sustainable option that is perfect for covering the huge area and many monuments in DC.
2. Tidal Basin
Move through the major monument areas, marveling at the dramatic effect of the floodlights on the stately architecture. Admire the Jefferson Memorial and Martin Luther King Memorial, bathed in indirect light from the Tidal Basin.
3. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
Take in the FDR Memorial with its cascading waterfalls and sculptures depicting President Roosevelt’s four terms.
4. Washington Monument
See the illuminated Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. Then visit the WWI and WWII Memorials, the Korean War Veterans Memorial
5. Vietnam Veterans Memorial
And, finally, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
6. White House
Continue past Washington DC’s most famous address: the White House. Keep your camera ready to test out your night photography skills as you stop at the sites.
7. Capitol Hill
Continue on towards Capitol Hill to be astounded by the Capitol Building. End your tour on a high note by asking your guide for some recommendations for the rest of your stay in the city. Your eco-friendly, open-air electric cart allows you to enjoy fresh air and great views as you tour the city. Your guide also points out festivals, exhibits, demonstrations or special events that may be occurring in this lively city. After a 2-hour tour, you'll return to the Smithsonian complex where your tour ends.

• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
• This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. In case of rain we strongly recommend wearing rain gear, ponchos and having an umbrella with you. The final decision on cancelling a tour will occur at least 1 hour prior to departure and all possible guests will be contacted.
• Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
• Wheelchairs can be accommodated, but not provided. We must be advised at time of booking if bringing your own wheelchair to ensure we can accommodate your request on your chosen date and departure time. All request are subject to availability.
• The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate
• Your tour covers the National Mall in an all-electric vehicle. We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of vehicle-based tourism in Washington DC, which makes up the vast majority of tours given in this city. Make a "green" difference by seeing the Mall via electric transportation!

Our tour guide, Reggie, was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He had a blanket, hand warmers, and an umbrella for each guest!

My teen son and I really enjoyed this tour. A great way to experience the city and get in all the monuments while learning so much about the city and each of the monuments. Our tour guide, Catherine, was fabulous.

Chris is a friendly and courteous with a good sense of humour and loads of information to share.

Being a history teacher previously provided Chris with the understanding of the historical events that took place in the US and also the backgrounds of why certain buildings were built, why the city was designed in a certain way and the influence of certain historical figures like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King for example.

We had a great time on this tour with our family (including two kids). At first we were nervous about the open air car, being that it was December and around 40 degrees, but they provided blankets and hand warmers and we were quite cozy. This is an incredible way to see the sights of DC at night, which gives a completely different feel than during the day. Our guide, Reggie, was knowledgeable, a safe driver, and answered all of our questions. My favorite part was when we got out at the MLK memorial and he walked us through the design and symbolism of the monument. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a different view of a big part of DC!

Great (albeit cold) excursion last night with Peter. Loved the commentary and enthusiasm from Peter on DC history. He entertained all questions from my teenage sons and it felt like we had our own personal tour!

Dr. Ed Cook was an amazing tour guide! He made this trip an epic time! The tour was phenomenal but his knowledge of the monuments and information about the city was incredible. I highly recommend doing this tour, we will definitely do it again when we come back!
