Great experience!
We came to see volcanic activity. The weather was challenging and they thought we won’t be able to see much and were willing to give us a full refund.
We decided to go anyway, see what’s out there.
We got lucky!
Chewy, our awesome pilot, saw few opportunities once we got up in the air and we got to see the top of the 2 highest volcanos and some cinder cones along with the lava fields that covered the south of the island and 3 whales swimming close to shore.
We highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. Our pilot David (or Chuy) was great, kept everyone entertained and informed. Really put the whole Volcano geology of the big island into perspective. And he had really good Helicopter tour music mix!

We were in excellent hands with our pilot, Sam. This was a first ride in helicopter for our family and Sam was wonderful. The kids are still smiling: volcanoes, waterfalls, whales!!

The pilot and ground crew were great! Unfortunately I was squished against the side of the helicopter in a back row of 4 with 3 men. Could only take a pix by balancing phone on my shoulder!
Only do if you are in front w pilot. 3 in the back row should be max.

If you are on the fence.. just do it! Dont forget the dramimine if you have motion sickness. Highly recommend.

Excellent pilot, smooth take-off and landing. Very knowledgeable of geography and volcanoes eruption histories. Since we had some extra time at the end, the pilot took us to see a few waterfall before heading back to Hilo!

Our flight was cancelled due to a sick pilot one day and to weather the next day, but the crew was so delightful. I wish we were able to go up, but they put safety first which is good. The ground crew is just wonderful :)
