Make the most of your vacation in Costa Rica with this packed combo tour from San Jose. You will be picked up in the morning from your San Jose area hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and will head towards the Central Volcanic Mountains. Following you will stop in a coffee plantation, where your guide will show you the coffee plants and will explain the way coffee is cultivated and harvested in Costa Rica (local coffee degustation will be done later on during the tour).

Continue on to La Paz Waterfall, where you will be able to take pictures for a few minutes of this natural attraction, which is surrounded by amazing rainforest landscapes.

Following you will stop at the exotic birds’ viewing point, where you will have the chance to observe many tropical bird species of Costa Rica, as well as the beautiful San Fernando Waterfall from its look-out point. At this amazing attraction, you will have a delicious cup of freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee, while observing the waterfall and colorful birds, definitely a great moment to remember.

Continue your tour with a visit to the Iguanas Center, where you will observe lots of iguanas at eye level from a bridge viewing point. During this stop, you will also visit a place nearby where we normally see sloths in the wild.

Savor a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant near the beautiful Arenal Volcano; the views of the most famous mountain of Costa Rica are spectacular on clear days. Later on, fly through the rainforest on a zip-lining course that includes 9 zip lines and a 50 meter-high rappel line (150 feet), a true adrenaline rush. Following you will participate in an indigenous tribe presentation performed by members of the Maleku Tribe, which is the Native’s Reservation of the northern side of the country.
6. Paradise Hot Springs
Finish this incredible day of adventure by dipping yourself in the soothing thermal mineral hot springs at the base of Arenal Volcano, there are multiple pools where you can rest for a couple of hours after this packed day of adventure. After your visit to the hot springs, you will savor a delicious Costa Rican style dinner before you are taken back to your hotel.

• Drop off in the Arenal-La Fortuna centrally located hotels is available. Please note that if you choose this option, dinner will not be included in your tour because it’s done in a restaurant on the way back to San Jose. Also, there is an extra charge for drop offs with luggage, but in the case of this tour it doesn’t apply because the cost of the dinner will cover for the drop off charge. If you wish to take this option, you must let us know at the time of booking.

Amazing trip! Harlem our guide and Will our driver were great as well! Very good pace and you will not be bored. Didn’t have time for breakfast and we stopped to try some tortillas which held us over for lunch. Zip lining was so fun and the hot springs had a bar! Would definitely book a trip with Harlem again 👍🏻

Did not see any waterfalls or the volcano. Went to a hot swimming pool that was labeled as hot springs. What a joke. Highlight was the ziplining

The operator was easy and quick to communicate with on messages! We missed our flight connection and so missed our tour but they so kindly offered us an alternative date and a different pick up point a couple of days later! We were so so grateful. Thank you!! Our tour guide Harlem was very welcoming and was very engaging with my two young boys. They also dropped us off at our hotel on the way back . The zip lining was a real adrenaline rush! And the hot springs very relaxing. It was a highlight also for my 8&11 yr olds. We missed the first half of the day but Harlem shared his amazing photos with us which were amazing! Thanks again! Hope to be back in costa rica soon

Fernando, our driver was amazing! He was informative, intuitive, energetic and very sweet. Would highly recommend. This tour only sees the volcano. You don't go on the volcano. The restaurants Fernando picked were top notch! Loved it. You do get a towel at the hot springs, so no need to bring one.

I had an amazing experience! Highly recommended. Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable, fun and takes awesome pictures :)!! This unique experience is so serene and peaceful. I felt one with nature and the experience left me feeling renewed, rejuvenated and so fulfilled. What an awesome way to see so much of Costa Rica in one day. Just beautiful!

This tour is a LONG day but very much worth it! Harlem was our tour guide and he was so kind and accommodating and shared so much knowledge about Costa Rica! This was a perfect tour, would make no improvements.

First time going to Costa Rica so my gf and I decided to try a day trip. So glad we did with this company. Our guide was Omar. Honestly, Omar was the best guide we had. He handled a group of, including us two, 9 people on the day trip. Omar was fun and informative with our activities and stops. He was professional and charismatic, got along well with the group. He ensured that we would be able to enjoy our day without a fuss. From the coffee shop, iguanas, zip line and hot springs. It was an amazing experience for sure. Lunch and dinner were delicious. Omar will make sure you are taken care of. Despite getting back to our hotel late, he got us there safely.
