Catherine was the sweetest tour guide. She noticed that I was nervous and had difficulty with the climbing so she stopped and kept encouraging me to move forward.

I highly recommend this tour. We are 70 in pretty good shape and the hike was strenouous but Stephanie made sure we all managed the mud and narrow trails. After the hike up the mountain the slide down the waterfall was AWESOME even for a non swimmer like me. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Stephanie her high energy and knowledge of the forest made the hike even more fun.

Stephanie was an excellent tour guide! She is professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and an all around great guide. My ultimate high point was the cliff dive followed by the water slide. I will definitely recommend!!🙏🏼

Excellent experience hiking through the rainforest to the waterfall and climbing up to the rope swing and cliff jumping.
Our tour guide Christina was the best! She was energetic, informative, and went out of her way to ensure everyone had a great time.
Please be aware that this was no easy stroll through the forest. I’d like to consider myself to be athletic, but this trip involved hiking through slippery mud and climbing up/down rock faces, which was challenging. Not a tour for little kids or those who don’t exercise regularly.
Overall it was the best time we had in Puerto Rico and would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough on how grateful I am for our tour guide Taina/Catherine. She was very communicative starting the day before to ensure we met at correct location, even went out of her way to pick us up in Rio Grande. My family and I were not aware of how difficult the trek up the mountain would be for my Mom. We had to go up a path that was quite difficult due to the rain. Taina took a hold of my Mom and made sure she made it up and all the way across the river safely. Not only Taina but other tour guides joined in to help. Once we reached the top, it was so worth it. Magical views, an experience we will never forget. Book this tour and be sure to ask for Taina “‘my love”!!!

This was my worst excursion in Puerto Rico! First, the guide ( Stephanie) was definitely not friendly. She sent about 20 texts regarding pick up time (and was 90 minutes late despite saying she wanted an early start to avoid crowds). Our original pickup time was 7am, she arrived at 8:30. She was very insistent on everyone giving her $2 cash for parking, to the point of rudeness. She also repeatedly, via texts and vocally, asked us to leave a tip or propina; even including her paypal and venmo account.She was rushing us through the trail and only stopped once to point out a type of fern. We asked her to please slow down to no avail. We were rushed to the water slide, only to wait in a long line. Lifejackets were provided, but not encouraged. On the way home her and the driver (Felix) chatted and drank water and snacks yet offered none to any of the group. The music was incredibly loud and the guides made zero effort to engage in any conversation with the group. They spoke only among themselves and fellow guides they encountered on the excursion. They did not even ask our names! This is overpriced. You basically walk a muddy trail half a mile to a giant swimming hole, where you can stay or continue onto another trail to a small water slide. The cliff jump is lame, not high at all. The rope swing was fun, but again, a long line to use it and all this is at the same swimming hole. There are no animals, birds or anything you would expect at a rainforest.

Taina (guide) was fantastic!!! She led our group confidently and encoraged everyone to participate regardless of their age/limitations.
The Saturday (more difficult) tour is best suited for more physically fit people - there is climbing and crawling at times. Swimming ability may dictate if you feel comfortable with the water slide/cliff jumping.
Overall I had a wonderful time! Thanks Taina!

Book this excursion! Paul and Enrique were awesome. They were so down to earth. It made the trip fun, like you were hanging out with your friends who were knowledgeable about the rainforest.
I was a solo traveler and I felt very comfortable and safe. I went down a waterfall slide, jumped off a cliff and swung from a rope in the middle of a rainforest for the first time.
Wear proper shoes. There’s a lot of mud involved. You can easily slip. Paul and Enrique were really good with their instructions. You’re in good hands if you listen.
We were a small group and we started early so we beat the crowds. Thank God! It was a half day tour, and really, the amount of time we spent there was just perfect. PS.. I’m a magnet for mosquitos but surprisingly, there were none.

In theory the description of the tour doesn’t fit the actual tour. You access public land through private land. Conditions day of should have made the tour canceled but it was held anyway. We were not able to do 3/4 of the advertised tour due to flash flooding risk. Granted I did not want to die but it just seemed silly that the tour was still held based on the water conditions on which a good portion of the tour is focused. The van we were driving in was also just the jankiest thing. It had clearly been rolled and the main door for the passengers did not close or stay closed correctly. The guide would have to get in the front passenger seat and push the door opened because she was not strong enough to open it correctly so one of the people on the tour ended up opening it for her due to his strength. The guide also couldn’t not just leave the radio on one station and just spent a lot of time flip-flopping radio stations rather than just drive. While I doubt it’s possible I would really like my money back for this tour.
It was the one thing I looked forward on my trip and I spent a lot of time picking out this tour and it just didn’t come through with all it promised so that really bums me out.
