Marinella is very knowledgeable, spoke English every well and took us through the ruins at a comfortable pace. She shared a lot of the history. I would highly recommend Marinella for a guided tour of the ruins. Can’t imagine a tour of the ruins without a guide as knowledgeable as Marinella. Thank you!

Conversations with Vincenzo during the trip. He was very knowledgeable and described all of the historic sites in great details! He was very pleasurable and very kind. He took us everywhere we wanted to go. We would recommend him to everyone we know that will be visiting Naples. 100% we will ask for him when we return.

We had this as an add on to a private tour of three areas and it was fantastic. No nonsense fluff and detailed knowledge not found in the regular Pompeii tour guide.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Pompeii history and very eager to educate us, but she spent too much time giving us every detail and so we spent a lot of time in one spot and moved very slowly. It was hard for our teens as well as ourselves to keep focused after a point. Her accent was very thick and my youngest son barely understood her. We wished we could have seen more but it was getting dark and we moved so slow at the beginning. We would have loved more time to explore on our own. The guide was very sweet and personable however.
Also, the "skip the line" wording made it seem like we had tickets included. It wasn't clear until after we purchased the tour that we did not have tickets included. We were there at a very slow time of year so the "skip the line" didn't benefit us in any way.

Marinella is amazing! The best guided tour I have ever had! A full immersion in the culture, literature, history, religion of the Roman times. Never a dull moment, excitement waiting for you behind each and every corner. Time flights with her and what your are left with is a strong feeling of wanting to come back asap! Not to miss!
