I would like to start by stating that I have never written a negative review before so it pains me to write one now. I always try to find the positive in a tour. So the positive were the weather was perfect which allowed us to enjoy roaming around the tower. The Beefeater was very informative and had a great personality. The Crown Jewels were not too crowded and we didn’t have to wait in any lines.
Now instead of listing the negatives I am going to make suggestions on how to improve this tour because if you don’t know what is wrong you cannot improve it.
1- You need to tell people exactly where to meet. You stated we were suppose to meet in front of Starbucks. But you were located across the street and a truck was blocking the view.I will say she did come over to a group of us to see if we were going on the tour.
2-Our tour guide needed to speak louder. It was hard to hear her in a group of 30 people. I have been on over 100 tours and this was the largest tour I have ever been on. Either she needs to speak up or get a microphone or give us head sets.
3-Our tour guide kept trying to talk over planes, cars and lawn mowers. Just stop for a minute until it passes and then continue.
4-Our tour guide was pretty boring. No excitement in her presentation. I am an educator who has taking students on many field trips and I always make the trips interesting. Maybe because I try and be animated. She needs to at least appear that she likes what she is doing. Fake it till you make it!
5-When the Beefeater asked if we would like to take our picture with him most tour guides will offer to take the picture. In her defense she did offer when someone was trying to find someone.
6- The last one is the most important. You need to hand out maps. We didn’t have a clue where anything was in the Tower. There were signs but they weren’t very clear. We finally found a map on the ground and it was a big help.
I hope you will take these suggestions. I love using Trip Advisor and I only want it to get better!

Ben was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. He even recognized us and chatted a bit when we met up the next day as we were walking to our hotel. The tour is a must see if you're visiting London.

This was a great way to get in early before the crowds and learn about the history of the Tower! Marie was a wonderful guide who had a wealth of information and stories about this place. It’s fun to meet the Beefeaters all around the Tower and learn about their lives and duties. It’s a full day if you decide to go on after the tour and visit the various towers and dungeons. There’s places to eat in there after the tour ends, and benches to sit upon around the courtyard. Highly recommend this tour!!

Wow! We had no idea what we were in for - in the best of ways! It was so much more than the Crown Jewels (which were stunning!). Maria was a great tour guide. We learned so much from her stories that we now want to look into learning even more about the Tower of London and the Beef Eaters! (she could use a mic when she has such a large group).

If you are in London, this is a must!!
You will be the first to enter the tower and enjoy the keys holder ceremony
Then you will be the first ones to see the Crown Jewels before it gets too crowded!
This place is so incredible, so much history
Our guide was Guy and besides that he is extremely knowledgeable he is super funny!
He definitely kept us very entertained
He had a lot of patience with the group and make sure that all our questions were answered
A plus on this tour is that you get a one way ticket for the Tames cruise!! A good way to see the Big Ben, Parliament, the Eye

The Beefeater who was part of our small group tour was Chris Skaife, former Ravenmaster and star of the TV show “Secrets of the Tower of London.”
We had an excellent interaction with him - a highlight of our visit.

Our tour guide Miranda was very personable and knowledgeable. Meeting the Beefeater was fun. We were able to get into the Crown Jewels exhibit before it got terribly crowded.
My suggestions would be for the tour guide would be to carry a flag or something similar, as she was short and sometimes difficult to see. Also, the LetzGo company (contracted through Viator) should consider using small group audio headsets, as the guides low volume voice made it difficult to hear her, and several of us missed what she was explaining sometimes.
The tour was worthwhile if not a bit long. Would recommend.
