Issac was on time and very helpful at the airport in dealing with our visas and temporally mislaid suitcase. The drive through Cairo to our hotel in Giza was fascinating. Very highly recommend this service to anyone.

Issac was wonderful!!! He was waiting for us as we arrived in Cairo, got us our Visa's and led us right thru passport control. We arrived after 10:00 pm and he was a joy to work with after 24 hours of flying. Bought us waters as we headed to his vehicle and gave us information on the area's we were seeing on the drive to the hotel. He was a great introduction to our Egypt trip.

The title of the service was misleading. We did not have a private pickup. We had to wait for two other parties who had luggage to pick up and who had to get their visa. This caused us a delay in getting to our hotel. Our representative tried hard to expedite our transfer and we did get a private car to our hotel but I think Viator could have been more transparent about the procedure.

Paulo was right there waiting for us with a sign, already had our visas, and escorted us quickly and cleanly through passport control and a few other areas and then out to baggage claim and lastly into the care of our driver. Couldn’t have been better or easier!

Our plane was a little early which seemed to rattle our representative a bit, but he got us through the process like lightening. We had a wait a brief bit for him to connect us with the driver because of the early arrival, but still a seamless connection, We had wanted to get local currency at the airport ATM but the representative who met us was in such a rush and speaking so quickly, it was difficult to communicate. Luckily the driver was able to do a small exchange for us. Our driver, Paul, was quite friendly and helpful and more relaxed than the representative that greeted us off the plane. I would completely recommend this company, but be prepared with your passports and visas easily accessible and ready to hustle as they are very efficient.

Paid for expensive “VIP” airport transfer to hotel after a 20 hour flight and nobody showed up. Horrible experience! Vendor promised to refund the charge and they never did. I thought I could trust Viatour. But I was wrong. Forced to negotiate my own ride with a horde of sketchy cab drivers. Driver later messaged me and asked why I never called him. I was never advised to call the driver once I arrived. He was supposed to be at the arrivals area with a sign and he wasn’t.
