The tour guide was amazing. The weather was not the best however I still had an amazing day. I wish we went around the gardens a little more.

An extravagant palace presented by Alex, our guide. His narrative and details made the tour come to life for us. With knowledge and the ability to relate history, it made the tour enjoyable. We chose to end our tour with a carriage ride around the palace grounds before taking the U-Bahn back to our hotel. A fun experience.

The location the group was to meet was unclear. The address does not map on Google Maps. The guide was not fully in control of the timing of the tour or the group. While understanding it was a Saturday afternoon, there were too many groups/singles scheduled during the same time frame that made it difficult to enjoy the palace tour. While the palace and gardens are extraordinary, the guided tour was not a pleasant experience.

Schönbrunn Palace is a must see if you’re visiting Vienna - but I would recommend just getting there early to purchase tix to the self audio tour rather than this group tour. We met at 10:50 and didn’t actually begin touring the Palace until 11:30. The tour guide was nice, but his explanations weren’t the best and you can just read yourself or listen to the audio tour at your own pace. The group tour only does a small portion of the palace and then they walk you around the grounds a bit, which again just felt like a bit of a waste of time when there is so much to explore. I’ve gone on many guided tours and this one wasn’t bad but not worth it to me.

It was quite a large group, but still engaging and interesting. Schonbrunn Palace is utterly amazing and well worth the visit - I shall be back soon as possible to see more.

This was certainly not a highly ranked experience. The man was very nice but extremely disorganized and ill prepared for the tour. We would rather have saved the money and put it towards a regular audio your through the palace

Our Tour Guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and provided an excellent commentary on this incredible palace. The tour included 24 rooms, which are amazing! Unfortunately, the weather that day made us choose to skip the gardens. We'll save them for our next visit!
The one thing that impacted our tour was a number of the tour guests arrived late causing a delay in our tour getting started. On time arrival is important as being late effects the whole group!
