The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and on time. We learned quite a bit from this tour. The only reason I gave a 4, not a 5, star rating is that there were 30 people in our tour - I'd preferred a smaller group. Other than that, it met our expectations.

It was convenient to get in with a guide.
However, although it was an English tour, the guide was not a native English speaker. We only caught about half of what he was saying. Also, he was not very clear. This was disappointing.

We loved this tour. Judith our guide was amazing. She had so much knowledge of the palace and it's history. The palace and grounds are absolutely beautiful!

Our guide took us through the rooms that were available for viewing with stories and descriptions of the history behind many of the rooms and the paintings. He was very enthusiastic and we enjoyed him a lot. Then we walked all arounds the grounds and the beautiful gardens. It was a great and informative and enjoyable tour!

While the palace was beautiful and it was convenient to get in with a guide, we were disappointed with our guide. His English was hard to understand which was very frustrating so we only caught about half of what he said. Also the content of what he shared was not coherent and we felt we were getting snippets of ideas rather than a coherent overview

Our tour with Bridget went perfectly. It was really easy to find her and she gave outstanding historical context to both the palace and gardens. Well worth having a guide.

Tour director was good. Well-spoken and organized. However, we were asked to meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 tour, which we did. However, at 10:25, we were still waiting for stragglers. So, our tour was almost a half-hour late in getting going. I don’t fault the tour director, but it seems there has to be some kind of cut off time in order to keep us on schedule.

Enjoyed our group tour with our guide Barbara. She was very informative and kept the tour moving. The tour includes one floor of the palace and gardens. After the tour is over you can remain in the garden area.
