I’ve done this tour many times and it never gets old and you always learn something new.
The traffic delayed our arrival and the tour hide rushed us. Which was unfortunate as I was with my mother and this was her first visit.
It was literally a one hour personalized tour. I could have hired a driver and toured on our own.
Disappointed. Will go back to Tours by locals.

Oliver was amazing. Great tour and so knowledgeable. I have two kids 9 and 6 and this was perfect. If you want to explore the gardens as well book the longer trip.

Nick led my family on an amazing half-day tour of Versailles. He is extremely knowledgeable about the palace, history, architecture, literature and more, and gave us a really valuable education into European history and how things operated at Versailles. He really was outstanding! Highly, highly recommended.

Hello everyone, good day. Today I want to recommend that if you have the opportunity, you visit the San Antonio Boutique Hotel, which is on Juárez Street 107, corner with Betancourt in the Downtown area of Xalapa. The hotel is a mansion with 10 beautiful and comfortable rooms built in 1900. The property is completely remodeled and has countless ornamental details that amaze visitors. There is a garden next to the cafeteria and staying there is a pleasant experience. Its cost is affordable and its location is unmatched. It is very close to the State Theater, a few steps from Juárez Park and a short distance from the Tlaqná Concert Hall of the Veracruzana University, which is the headquarters of the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra, the oldest in the country. Visit the San Antonio Boutique Hotel, you will not regret it.

Wonderful tour with a great guide. Olivier knew his history and ensured we understood all that we needed and wanted to know. Very pleasant, very educated in the facts. The history and beauty of Versailles was beyond our expectations. Go for the morning opening if you want to avoid the biggest crowds.

Really informative, in depth tour of Versailles and grounds with our guide Henri from Togo. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge about the court system, all the different kings, dauphins, queens, etc. Learned not only about the rooms, but the historical events depicted in the paintings inside the rooms, and about individuals in the paintings and sculptures. Learned about why no kitchens inside the castles (fire risk), and how the French kings and court ate cold food as a result. Also learned about the grounds, the gardens, and the canals. History major husband still found a lot to learn on the tour! Well done.

We had an amazing tour with our guide Chris. I’m not sure I would want to do this any other way. He was very knowledgeable and informative about all things Versailles and the added bonus was skipping the large lines and being able to go at our own pace and ask questions.

We enjoyed our tour at Versailles Palace and our guide was very knowledgeable. For the price of the private tour/transfer for two, I did expect a bit more such as waters in the van or a golf cart included in the Gardens portion. Visiting was a true experience and I would recommend to anyone visiting Paris.
