Our guide, Roseann, was extremely knowledgeable. She made history come to life in our full-day tour. Versailles is fascinating and beautiful. And the lunch provided with the tour was really excellent.

I'm grateful to TripAdvisor/Parismatic tours for the adjustment to our pick up plans. Our guide, Christope (Parismatic Tour) was kind, funny, and paced our tour to meet our needs. We could not have asked for a better experience. The lunch included in this tour is held with a reservation that is essential if you want to dine while at Versaille. Top notch tour guide in so many ways.

This tour was disappointing. Our guide was disinterested and unaccommodating. We learned more from a google search. After two days with a fabulous, brilliant and engaged guide in Paris, we were extremely underwhelmed. It was an overpriced and low value added excursion to Versailles.

We had the absolute most charming day at Versailles with our guide Julian. He has been a tour guide for 22 years, studied at the Sorbonne, Louvre and in Italy. He knew literally everything about Versailles and French history. He was so kind and fun-loving and did a wonderful job answering questions from our children (10 & 7). He kept the entire family engaged the entire time, was very accommodating, enthusiastic and just a good human. He was a pleasure and so was the experience he created for our family at Versailles. We left 1000% satisfied and would most highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a magical day at Versailles.

The entire eight hours spent with Julian was memorable - from on time pick up and return to listening to his vast historical knowledge of France as well as the lifestyle of modern day Parisians. He has a keen sense of humor and made us feel like family. He was very gentlemanly and graciously ensured the well being of our friend, who was wheelchair bound. My friends and I agreed that touring Versailles, which included a delicious lunch on the estate, was the highlight of our stay in Paris. Sharing the cost among 7 friends made this tour affordable. Thank you Viator!

Best day ever! Our guide, Zara was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of France and French Royalty. She picked us up at our hotel , Raphael and briefly drove us around some beautiful sights in Paris on the way to Versailles. She showed us all around the Versailles properties and made everything come alive in a way only she can do. We had a beautiful lunch on the property, saw more of the castles and gardens before heading back to Paris. Wonderful day with Zara!

We had a great tour with Zara who is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. She ensured that our experience was wonderful and cleared the way for us through daunting crowds. I decided to go with a private tour because I have bad knees and knew a regular tour would not accommodate me. Sara got us everywhere we needed to go comfortably and having a one on one experience made it so much easier to learn and to ask questions. We recommend this tour and give it a solid five stars!
