Wonderful full day tour of The Palace at Versailles with a marvelous guide. The palace is a place that cannot be adequately described with words or captured in photographs. Every part of the tour explores the grandeur of the palace, the gardens and grounds, and the opulence of the Bourbon Dynasty. Well worth the effort and price. And the group was lucky to have Anna Sophia as our excellent guide. She was entertaining, engaging, and knowledgeable. The amazing experience of the adventure was enhanced by our top notch guide, Anna Sophia's narration and answers all of the questions of the group throughout the day.

Our guide, Anne-Sophie, was an ABSOLUTE star!!! She was incredible friendly, patient, kind, and funny! She was so thoughtful that she even worked out the logistics to make sure we don’t have to walk from the Petite Trianon back to the front gate for exiting. Beautiful palace and great experience! As people would say, Anne Sophie was ‘Mothering’ the entire tour.

Sophie was our all day guide. She not only was able to give our group an amazing understanding of Versailles but the history of France!!! I would highly recommend Viator but esp. Sophie!

The tour guide was really informative and cheerful. Vladina made the visit to Versailles so special. The Palace is impressive and the garden is mind blowing.
We visited the petit chateau Trianon and its garden with the hamlet which are worth seeing if you enjoy time travel.

I really enjoyed this tour, Isabel was very knowledgeable of the history.. she had a fun way to tell us about the kings and queens that lived there. I also enjoyed walking through the gardens and visiting Queen Marie Antoinette’s smaller palace and Hamlet where she felt more free of all the court protocols in the big palace!

The title is self explanatory.. if you can't walk ALOTTTT don't do this tour.. I think I couldn't feel my legs by the end AT ALL.. If you love history this trip is for you.. I loved how knowledgeable and entertaining she was.. the guide is great she explains well but gives "NO TIME" at all for pictures.. if you even take more than a minute for pictures you'll be lost as to wheres your guide.. we missed alot of history coz we were busy taking pictures.. so ya! you can't afford to stop.. so you need to pick between listening to the history of Versailles or making memories with pictures!

I could not be more impressed with Viator. We accidentally booked the wrong date for our Versailles tour. No problem fixed with one phone call. Gabrielle our guide was OUTSTANDING. So knowledgeable and made the experience one we will never forget. We do not like tours because we like to explore at our own pace but have to say this may have changed my mind. The history she shared was incredible. I will say we did the 7 hour tour and when they say a lot of walking we did 7.1 miles over a 5.5 hours. We do get time for lunch and one small break in the afternoon. The train ride at the end was a nice relief to my feet. Amazing

A wonderful tour. Our guide Gabriella brought the palace of Versailles and its gardens to life with her stories and historical knowledge. It was a full day of walking and the weather was hot but Gabriella managed to keep us in the shade outside and gave us opportunities for resting. Definitely a worthwhile tour with a more than excellent guide.

My mom and I were hesitant of a tour. The best choice we ever made!! We now feel more connected to our French heritage and its timoltuis past. Versailles is magical and stunning. Pay the money, take the all day tour, see all the things. But don't forget to request Laura the best guide ever. She was so knowledgeable, fun, spoke perfect English and completed our experience 👏 😀
