The tour was amazing! We covered the Palace, the gardens, grounds, the Trianons and so much more. Our guide (M) is an historical expert and gave us tons of information about the period, the cultures and customs, and the prominent figures. She keyed in on the things that interested us while assuring we got all the details and nuances. The guide picked us up at our flat and she engaged us in history from door to door about Paris and Versaille. We definitely recommend the personal tour; our small group navigated the grounds and around the crowds with relative ease and allowed for a much more personalized experience.

The Versailles Palace tour was great! I enjoyed having a guide walk us and educate us in the palace. The gardens were beautiful, definitely could have spent much more time walking thru them.

The highway was closed due to the upcoming Olympics so our bus driver had to take an alternative route which was going through small villages. This was a treat!

While the Versailles Palace and Gardens themselves were absolutely spectacular, our experience with the half-day guided tour from Paris was unfortunately disappointing. The tour bus and venue delivered visually, but the tour guide assigned to us had a heavy accent which made understanding the history and stories of Versailles challenging. Additionally, it seemed that the guide was not well-informed, lacking depth in their knowledge about the palace and gardens. Consequently, we felt compelled to break away from the group and proceed with a self-guided tour. This decision, although not ideal, allowed us to better appreciate the grandeur of Versailles at our own pace. For the price paid, the tour did not meet our expectations and it was a letdown that we had to resort to touring on our own.

Loved that we had a comfy bus ride to Versailles Didn't have to take the Metro
The palace was beautiful & pictures don’t do it justice Awesome splendor
Our guide although knowledgeable rushed us through the rooms! He had another group to meet!!! Not cool! Would loved to have spent more time inside the palace
The gardens were amazing Lots of free time wander through the flowers & maze

The guide was friendly and nice and gave a good overview of the history. There were a lot of people and it was hot.
The gardens go forever and we weren’t able to explore as we didn’t have enough time.

It was really good tour. No long wait time guide with best knowledge of the art and history with really comfortable devices to hear the guide explaining the entire rooms. He tried to engage with group with asking historical questions plus give us hints about hidden door in the palace I find that interesting. Then we went to the garden to explore but we missed the bus to return but I was our fault we rented the golf carts and got lost and we missed the bus but it was totally ok we took the Uber back.

Great guided tour of the Palace of Versailles. The bus pick-up was great for our young daughter versus trying to get on trains. The guide did a great job walking us through and showing us around. My 3 year old daughter absolutely loved the gardens. This is the only thing I wish the tour lasted longer as my daughter didn’t want to leave as the gardens are enormous with so much to do and see.

My daughter and I participated in this tour on Wednesday, April 3. all communication with Viator was smooth and finding the meeting point was no trouble. The bus ride was comfortable as well. Our tour guides were both exceptional and pleasant during the tour. My only small complaint would be with the headsets. They were not working for all participants and seemed to take quite a long time to remedy, so I felt we lost about 30 minutes of time that could have been spent longer in the gardens. Otherwise it was magnificent to see and is truly an incomparable wonder! Don't miss during your travels.
