Our tour guide Nadia was good, knowledgeable and informative during our Palace tour. We were not rushed through the rooms. We did the 11.30 time slot from Paris and as there were no queues when we arrived the "skip the line" feature was irrelevant. At the end of the Palace tour we walked to the top of the gardens where Nadia explained more key points. We were then given 30 minutes of free time to explore on our own and our guide bid us farewell with instructions on where to head back yo the bus for departure. We were told multiple times that our bus would depart at 3pm promptly.

Things went downhill quickly... on our way back to the exit (with 20 minutes to spare, guards with guns had appeared and stopped everyone from proceeding as there had been an 'incident'. Multiple people, not only from our group, tried to ask for alternative exit which we were told NO we would have to wait, with no indication of how long. At this point we were down to 10 minutes to bus leaving. Everyone was eventually led on a 15 minute walk around the back of Palace and let out into the streets where we had to walk another 15 minutes to get to bus. THE ONLY REASON THE BUS WAITED WAS THAT SOME FAMILY HAD SPLIT AND WERE ALREADY ON THE BUS. We were getting multiple messages saying they were not happy and going to leave. Majority walking/running back were elderly. Next time I will check that the tour guide stays for the whole tour as we had language and direction barriers which she would have been able to navigate for us. Also would the bus have left if one of their own employees was behind? It was a VERY stressful end to an otherwise good tour. When it says guided tour, it should be from start to finish.

Versailles was wonderful the guide was excellent the meeting point was very confusing and not easy to find fortunately the guide kept texting me until we found them

Good tour couldn’t imagine seeing Versailles without tour guide won’t have an appreciation for what your seeing. Would have given it a 5 the tour bus leaves at 2 and the fountain show was at 2 pm or you can take the train on your own. Wish they at least gave you time to see fountain show then get on the bus ! Otherwise tour was good

The guide was very knowledgeable. Versailles is stunning and well worth visiting. The gardens are extensive so it’s worth staying on to catch h the train back to Paris.

Location for meeting place was a bit far and not convenient. Tour itself was good and our guide was great. Just too rushed. To tackle in less than 3 hours was unrealistic. Operator should add at least another hour to visit to make worth while.

Beholding the hall of mirrors was incredible. Also just climbing the steps and seeing the first room. It’s so majestic and grand, every inch of each room. It’s worth doing the tour to understand the history and culture of Versailles and of what you’re looking at. Our tour guide, Amehd, was phenomenal. Very friendly and personable, and he knew and loved his material. I wish I didn’t have to move through the palace quite so quickly though.

Great tour! Very efficient and got a good sense of Versailles especially given the crowds and line ups. Amid ( ?sp) was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and really made the tour a great experience. He shared so many stories and details about Versailles that made the tour memorable. Highly recommend!

This is a great trip. My only comment would be that I think it would have been great if we got more time in the gardens with the option one returning on the tour bus.
