We enjoyed our Versailles tour. It was cold so dress warmly because about half of tour is outdoors. The guide was very knowledgeable and skipping the long lines was great

I would say the gardens are the best part of the Palace of Versailles. Jose, who was Amazing, took us all through the gardens, explaining everything, …. The fountains and sculptures are just beautiful! We just absolutely loved it! Thanks Jose!!!

It was great to have hotel pickup and dropoff for this, as travelling by Uber/Taxi with a family in Paris can be challenging. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and really knew how to get us through this amazing Palace in a few hours. The highlight was the time we spent in the gardens, which we would never have been able to navigate without a guide. He also could see that we were OVER the big crowds in the most visited rooms and took us to some lesser known parts of the Palace that were less crowded, and we were really able to enjoy the setting.

This was a bucket list trip for our life long friends in the US, but unfortunately due to the French strike it didn’t turn out as planned. Our guide was fantastic but because of the strike we were unable to get into Versailles so only saw the outside. We have been promised a refund but to date nothing has happened despite numerous emails and messages to the company

Our guide Jose was amazing! Very knowledgeable and personable! We loved the pick up and drop off at our hotel. He gave us a lot of information while we were driving there. The experience was wonderful!

Tour was a waste of time. Did not go to the palace first as described and then gardens. Instead drove around the outside areas of Versailles for 90 mins. Then came in the back gate of the gardens and spent only 30 minutes in the gardens. Finally we got to the palace at 12:30 when it was totally packed with people instead of first thing in the morning, skip the line which was what we paid for. Biggest waste of $1,200.00 I have ever spent. Would not recommend guide.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about Versailles and its history. For $900, we should have been driven in one of the golf carts around the extensive gardens. I have MS and it was too much uphill walking to start at the bottom by the lakes and boat rental where he parked and walk up to the palace. He didn’t point out the extensive manicured gardens to be seen looking down from the courtyard. Luckily we had planned to visit with a local Collette guide the next day as well. Live and learn.
