This food tour made my family’s trip to Venice an unforgettable experience. Our leader was Alexandra and she was absolutely incredible. She showed us authentic Venetian dishes and spots we never would have tried on our own. She was very knowledgeable about the city and so much fun to spend time with. I cant recommend this tour enough. Thank you Alexandra for making our Venice experience one we will never forget!

Alexandra was terrific. She had her favorite places and new things to taste. She knew she could be testing our limits a bit but we are pretty adventurous. If locals eat it I should be able to at least be able to taste it. She was perfectly fine with the one or two things we didn't find quite to our liking. She had lot's of stories and a total love of Venice which comes from living on the island. Very recommend this tour.

Being able to have a knowledge tour guide in such a busy place was perfect. We were able to go at our own pace and ask questions. Claudia pointed out things not noticeable unless you knew where to look.

We did a food tour with Loris and this was one of the best experiences over two weeks in Italy. He is professional, a good conversationalist, knowledgeable, and knew how to cater to the group. All the food tastings were delicious and prevented us from going to the tourist traps of Venice. Do not hesitate to book with Loris!!

Alexandra was an amazing tour guide! We tried a wide variety of local Venetian foods, while gaining insight into Venetian history/current issues. This tour was the highlight of our time in Venice.

Giada was the perfect guide to the sights and tastes and history of Venice. My wife and I were very impressed with her professionalism and her knowledge of Venetian history and cuisine. She adapted her tour to our preferences and we tasted some of the best chocolate in the world. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Our only regret is that we did not book this earlier in our stay.

Alexandra was the perfect guide from the first moment we met her. You could tell she was so passionate about the food and wine we tried, and just as passionate about where she lives. It made all the difference to our experience and I would not hesitate in booking another tour with her the next time we have friends and family visiting. She was so attentive to our needs throughout the tour and was so happy to answer any questions we had. She found the perfect balance of food and wine knowledge and the history of Venice to ensure we had a well rounded experience. I could not recommend her enough to anyone considering booking a tour!

Firstly, the places we visited and the food/drink we ordered were all things we could have done on our own with very little research. There was nothing unique or special about any of the places.
Secondly, the tour was overpriced for the places we visited and the information/service provided by the guide and the food and drink that was included.
Lastly, the guide was socially "off" unfortunately. His English was not fluent (which is fine if he was on vacation in England, but not helpful when he was unable to answer our basic questions about the food he'd ordered for us), and he stuck to his mental script, avoiding answering our simple questions. He was hurried in his delivery and very inflexible about stopping when we saw something that piqued our interest. Then when we asked for a minute to stop and take a picture of the street sign where there was a pasta place we were interested in (so we could return on our own), he got frustrated with us and snapped and said there was no need and we can just walk back after the tour was done. Um - we wouldn't have known where we were walking back to is we didn't take a picture! This specific incident happened two hours into a three hour tour and we had plenty of time left.. and only two more places to see. Stopping wouldn't have caused a time issue.
He also was clearly irritable that I didn't finished the entire glass of wine at the wine place.
For info, the other two tours we booked were WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL! - With VERY helpful guides!
I don't recommend this one if your guide is Thomas.

This is the way to see Venice. You get to walk all around with someone who keeps you from getting lost, knows where to eat and what to get. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on.

Claudia was the best! We visited places in Venice we would never have gone to on our own and had drinks and snacks that were local to the area that were delicious. Claudia was very sensitive to my specific mobility needs and a wonderful advisor about what to do in Venice. Highly recommend this tour.
