Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable! Timing was a bit of an issue- our group was late to the gondolas because of a restroom break, so they skipped us. Therefore, they had us wait for a long time, but an impending storm threatened to shut our gondola station down. Thankfully, we were the last group to board a gondola before they closed.

Great guide and tour. The guide (Elena) was raised in Venice and gave us great insights into the daily lives of Venetians. She was very knowledgeable about the venues we toured.

I was late for a few minutes for meeting time because I got on a wrong water bus. I was looking for my group for about 1 hour but I was not able to find the group. I totally wasted$156. I booked a Gondola ride for myself today for $32. I explored the city by myself. Today lesson: Don’t book any tours by Viator. I have a few more tours booked with Viator in this trip Italy. I hope I can find my group/tour guide.

The weather was terrible and multiple groups were milling around trying to find their tour. I missed connecting with the guide and after it was apparent he left without me, he wouldn’t respond so I could catch up. The only resolution he offered was for me to purchase another tour the next day.

Customer service is terrible. We fought our way through bad weather, thick crowds, and even stopped crowds only to find that the Tour had already left. We attempted to contact the Tour operator with no success. So we called via Tour customer service and was connected to an operator we could barely understand. we even attempted to contact the tour guide to be able to catch up to them somewhere along the route, but he never responded. The only option we were offered was to purchase the next days tour at full price. We will not use this guide, nor Viator again .
