The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

Valentina was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. She took us to Bacaro spots the locals went to. The cicchetti was amazing. We tried so many cicchetti dishes it was hard to keep track but try the sardines, anchovies, octopus in red sauce, shrimp, cod, calamari. Eat like a Venetian! And don’t forget the vino and Select Spritz!

Great way to start our visit to Venice. The tour guide was engaging, friendly, and funny with plenty of interesting facts about Venice and its food and drinks. The small group size also encouraged interaction with the other members which made the experience even better.

Would highly recommend this tour, Great way to experience the real Venice and small bars/eateries that are hidden away. Good value for money and very enjoyable. Our host Beatrice was so friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a small group of 3 couples, it was great meeting them all. It was a really fun night.
Our guide Emma was the best and we loved all the places she took us to!
The food and drinks were delicious!
Highly recommend you do this tour.

The food was excellent at 4 out of the 5 stops. It seemed that the restaurants were not expecting our group and were a little flustered trying to accommodate a large group of 8 plus the guide. Our guide Arianna was very knowledgeable and all of her food and beverage selections were very good. Overall, a nice way to spend an evening in Venice and a good alternative to dining in a restaurant.

Anita was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and she took us to some really nice local places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. It was away from the main tourist area, but still walking distance. We just did a food tour in Florence with a different company and this one was much better. We got generous pours, not just samples of the drinks. We also had a choice of what to eat at each place, not just all given the same thing. Anita also emailed us other places to try during the rest of our stay in Venice.
