The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

It was memorable experience not only because of delicious food and tons of wine, but because of our wonderful guide Emma, who made it very special. I would totally recommend this tour to everyone who wants to be taken for an adventure and threaten like Kings and Queens!

We love Olimpia! She was friendly, kind, and thoughtful! I liked that she asked us first of our food/wine preference before ordering when we enter a ristorante/bacaro. I really love this for we have joined a food tour in Rome and the guide just orders without asking. It rained heavily in Venice that the water level rose on our 4th stop (Bacaro). The bar was flooded that we removed our shoes. We didn’t get to go to our last stop, but it was fine! We had sucha good time with the group and Olimpia! Olimpia ordered more wine/drink as a compensation. To be honest, this was the most memorable part of our trip! Grazie Mille Olimpia!

Loved walking around with Emma to the local areas and trying different foods and drinks. Emma was knowledgeable and fun to be around. Definitely a fun evening.

Valentina was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. She took us to Bacaro spots the locals went to. The cicchetti was amazing. We tried so many cicchetti dishes it was hard to keep track but try the sardines, anchovies, octopus in red sauce, shrimp, cod, calamari. Eat like a Venetian! And don’t forget the vino and Select Spritz!

Great way to start our visit to Venice. The tour guide was engaging, friendly, and funny with plenty of interesting facts about Venice and its food and drinks. The small group size also encouraged interaction with the other members which made the experience even better.

Would highly recommend this tour, Great way to experience the real Venice and small bars/eateries that are hidden away. Good value for money and very enjoyable. Our host Beatrice was so friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a small group of 3 couples, it was great meeting them all. It was a really fun night.
Our guide Emma was the best and we loved all the places she took us to!
The food and drinks were delicious!
Highly recommend you do this tour.
