The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

Fantastic tour, Valentina is amazing, she is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. We would never have found the places we were taken and to get food and drink recommendations at each place was great. This tour was one of the most enjoyable parts of our holiday. I will definitely return to Venice and I would do this tour again.

Valentina was the leader of our small group, just us and a honeymooning couple from Australia. She took us to places where we got the equivalent of Italian tapas (which we are not supposed to call it! Snacks is better!), in places we had never even thought to go in. Polenta and bread with different toppings, from fish to meat, vegetable and cheese. Sandwiches that are local specialties. Alcoholic beverages were included at each stop, in including spritzes and belinis, as were non-alcoholic drinks. I am a picky eater and appreciated that we could order what we liked from various choices. We ended the tour with delicious gelato. Along the way we learned about Venice, eating in Venice, and life in Venice. Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and excellent food. We left stuffed!

Emma was the BEST! Loved her recommendations for local food and drinks, and we tried things we never would have found on our own. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour and that made it much more intimate and personalized!

Our guide Emma was the best guide we have ever had on a tour. She was very informative, fun to be with and knew everyone as we walked on our tour. Emma made us feel like we were part of her family. We went to very crowded...no where to sit little cafes. Not comfortable at all The food was small bites and not great choices
