We did a wonderful tour with our guide Filippo. He was very knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of context on this beautiful city. St Marks basilica should really be seen in a small/ private group at night.

Sabrina was fantastic - bringing history alive to us and our teens through mysterious and relatable stories. Going in the evening was the right choice as it was cooler and the light "show" in the cathedral was very cool.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our guide, Ottavia! She was absolutely wonderful! I was nervous about the tour because I am visually impaired and nighttime is the worst time for my eyesight. However, she did not mind working with me at all. On the way back she chose a route where there were fewer steps for me. The tour was wonderful and her knowledge was astounding. My husband and I continue to talk about how kind she is. The company has a wonderful employee and her. I any questions we had, she had answers for. My husband and I highly recommend this tour and hope you will have Ottavio as your guide.

Our guide, Marie took my husband and I on a wonderful walk through Venice in the evening, which was a quieter time to see the city. Marie is so knowledgeable and friendly, we really enjoyed our time with her. We learned a lot about the history of the city and its present challenges before heading over to St. Mark's, where we joined with another group for the after-hours tour. There were only about 12-15 of us total and this was the best way to really experience St. Mark's. After viewing mosaics in the lobby, we went inside the dark church and as the lights came on, the mosaics just glowed. We also saw the crypt and the incredible Palo d'Oro altarpiece up close. It was a truly unique experience and Marie was wonderful. Highly recommend this excellent LivItaly tour!
