Very good experience, the only problem that a microphone for a local guide was not working good. The trip organazer Alexandro was very informative, and the driver was great.

The city itself was beautiful, and surreal. The trip was very long, quite boring and they left 5 of us in Venice.

I as a blind person requested assistance but absolutely none was given apart from some other guests on the trip. I was left to my own devices in the first stop to get food and drink, and we were informed about a gondola ride. The ride was cash only and again no one helped me get cash but just told me to go to cash machines or currency exchange. Not really the help I needed but I managed.

The tour of the glass making factory was a quick 2/3 minute demo of something being made and then a tour of everything you can buy, more of a sales pitch rather than insight into making etc.

We were made aware of some points of attraction but was quite misinformed. We were recommended several times to visit the realtor bridge as it was “10 minutes away from pick up point” we went on recommendation and that’s how we became lost and stranded in Venice. I was phoned by the company but there was no help really as with my sight issue they couldn’t help. They pin pointed me but said I was too far away to help me so they had to leave me. I managed to get to the station with the help of a street vendor and caught the train back to my hotel at a cost of €59. This was actually better in the end as even though I’d paid for “pick up and drop off” we were informed they don’t actually drop you off, so it’s more like pick up service.

As you can tell here it’s more about getting you there rather than much else. I’d definitely recommend going to Venice but maybe plan your own trip. I don’t really know if it’s viatours issue or the company they use in Milan but I’d definitely not recommend the Milan company.

Our guide Salvator was amazing and quite the history buff. We really enjoyed learning while we took the bus to Venice. Everything was explained very well in terms of what to expect. He gave us a heads-up on bathrooms and even offered to let me have a coin to go to the paid one.
Once we arrived where the busses parked we took a ferry and then walked to St Mark's square. Our tour guide within Venice was very funny and engaging. We saw a glass blowing demonstration. We had some free time to walk about. We took a gondola ride, it felt too short. It was very crowded but we were able to sit and have a bite at a cafe and get some stuff from the vendors. Its a very beautiful place to visit.

Reason I gave 4 stars because no confirmation about pick up at Hotel … said 6:00 am but driver showed up at 6:30 am … second of all, said pick and drop off at hotel but after the trip no drop off service and had to find the way back to hotel at night
On the Venice… took so long on Murano glass factory … a bit boring
Gondola ride was not too bad
Free Time for site seeing is good for walk around and lunch
Overall recommended but be aware about things above

Venice is a beautiful city but we spent most of the day on the bus. We left our hotel at 6am and didn’t get back until 10p but only spent 3 hrs in Venice. There is a lot of traffic that slows down the ride. The bus driver has to stop for 30 minutes after driving for so long. The company picked us up at our hotel but then doesn’t take you back to the hotel, it drops you off at their office in the middle of Central Milan. It is then up to you to figure out how to get back to your hotel. In Venice, the guide walked us into town and then it was on your own. We didn’t learn anything about the buildings or area we saw. Overall I was very disappointed with this trip and felt I spent a lot of money to sit on a bus for 10 hrs.

Amazing trip.

Our tour guide was Najma. She was organized , gave clear instructions, caring and so helpful .
Time was managed smartly as its a long trip we tried to cover the most important things in Venice.

Amazing management and beautiful city indeed.

Worth staying there for 1 night at least

We took the HSR from and to Milan. (~ 150 Euro for two, round trip) The trip takes about 2+ hours each way. In Venice we took the water taxi from the Santa Lucia Train station to the Rialto Bridge boat terminal and then walked to the Piazza San Marco where we joined our tour. (7,5 Euro each for the water taxi round trip)

We met our guide and toured the Doge's Palace, and Saint Marks. Lots of stairs and up and down climbing. The tour was interesting and we were glad we did it, but we should have stayed overnight in Venice; and visited the islands and more of their attractions.
