Fantastic guided tour of the Sistine chapel and museum. All of it was memorable. Well worth having a guide as there is so much to see. Statues, paintings mosaics etc. also avoids the majority of queues. Book as early as possible and avoid peak times (weekends etc) otherwise it will be extremely and excessively expensive. Allow at least 4 hours to complete this tour, including the St. Peter’s Basilica. We went up to the top of the dome. 550 steps. If it were not so expensive, I would have given it 5/5.

We really enjoyed the visit to the Vatican , the Sistine Chapel was amazing! our tour guide was very knowledge and informative. Skipping the line was great, I will recommend this tour

Guide was knowledgeable but we felt a bit rushed through the exhibit. Also, instructions were not that clear and we ended up loosing the group and missing the Basilica part of the trip.

Amazing tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Our tour guide, Maria was passionate and knowledgeable. We had ample time to look at the Sistine Chapel even though it was busy, the skip the line feature was a must!

Tour guide wasted too much time talking about miscellaneous details. It was an hour before we even entered the museum. If the guide got 10 feet in front of you, the hearing devices would not work. After 1.5 hour into the tour, FIVE people left the tour to continue on their own to be more efficient with their time!

St Paul’s which we toured by leaving the group was the highlight.
English tour was a joke as guides English was impossible to understand and audio was iffy.
A huge waste of money and extremely disappointing.

I purchased three tickets to an Italian tour at 10:15 AM for the next day and within the same day it was canceled. I was then offered the next day at 3:15 PM in English. When I arrived to check in I was rudely informed that all the afternoon tours would not have St. Peter’s Basilica due to ongoing training. When I asked if they were aware of this they stated there were in advance. I attempted to explain about having a tour at 10:15 AM and would have had this experience. I was then told rudely again that my ticket for today would not have all three and there was nothing they could do to help me. I felt very dismissed and embarrassed as he was talking loud enough for others to hear. I understand things happen so I requested to get a third of my money back, which was denied. I provided all of the evidence to show why I was requesting a third. I did not choose to have this happen to me and somehow I feel this is my fault. I will never use Viator again for any of my travels and will not be recommending them online or to my friends.

Tour vendor well organized. Our tour guide Matt was excellent!! He’s was very enthusiastic, and pationate about the church's history. As well as knowledgeable and animated in relaying centuries of events.
