Alesso was knowledgeable, but often hard to hear/understand.
The employees in the Sistine Chapel were pushy and impatient.

The tour was extremely fast paced so you got through everything but found you didn’t get to stop and take it all in. Our guide Rich was knowledgeable and very thorough with theology.

I arrived at 8:20 for 8:30 tour because taxi had trouble, and tour guide had already left. Someone tried to scan me to buy another tour, thankfully I figured it out. Only good thing was they did refund the full amount. Tour guide should not leave before designated time!

Wow! Our tour guide was so knowledgable! To bring the history of the church & Bible to life is an experience of a lifetime. Having a private guide was so beneficial, as our group is Christian but not Catholic. I can't put into words how this experience has changed me. Having the tickets already ahead of time is essential if you don't want to have to stand in line for hours and chance they are sold out. Many people were terribly disappointed they could not get in.

Alessio proved to be a very prepared and patient guide. It allowed us to find our time to best enjoy the masterpieces preserved in the Vatican Museums and inside St. Peter's Basilica, helping us to understand the majesty of the buildings and the preciousness of the works, also through details on their creation and conservation, which escape the "do it yourself" visitor. It's definitely an experience worth doing at least once in your life.

This was an excellent tour! Alessi, our guide was fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable. Answered every question no matter what the topic. He shown a lot of time with us explaining what÷would see and what to look for before each part of the tour. Alessi is an archeologist and knew the history of anything and everything. He spoke very good English. I told him he could probably host a National Gegraphic special on Vatican City, the museums & St. Petet's Basillica he was that knowledgeable. This was a great tour with a fantastic guide that you could tell loved what he did! Thank you so much Allessi for an excellent tour that exceeded it expectations!

How exciting to visit the Vatican for the first time! The Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica! But by the time this tour was over, the excitement had vanished. After 2+ hours of arcane minutae about broken statues and the history of the construction and reconstruction of the site, we finally were ushered into the Sistine Chapel for a precious few minutes and then into the Basilica, again for too short of a time. No bathroom breaks, no where to sit at all, just a death march through the museum with hordes of others. Not recommended. You'd be better off just doing some historical research beforehand and buying a simple entrance ticket and seeing what you wanted to see.
