Once inside the Vatican Museums, you will be in a Semi-private group. Venture inside and feel yourself immersed into the home of the Catholic Church, take time to admire La Pietà, a stunning Michelangelo sculpture created by the artist when he was just 24, and Bernini’s Baldacchino – the ornate bronze canopy that sits above St Peter’s high altar. Explore the Basilica at your own pace, your tour guide will give you directions in order to go inside this masterpiece.

everything was great, we enjoyed the tour, the guide was friendly and answered all of our questions. the tour took about 3 hours, maybe more.

Experience was less than satisfactory
Tour time was changed from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a promise to include St. Peter’s Basilica. We were advised to come at 11:30 am which we did. We were then told that St. Peter’s would be after the Museum& Chapel tour. We were reassured that the museum & chapel tour will finish by 3:30 pm.
We did not get to the museum till 2:15 pm.
We had arranged for a ride to and from our ship and paid for the tour to enjoy a visit to the Sistine chapel. We never got to the Chapel, the main reason for our trip.
Viator representatives rejected my request for a refund and did not even respond to me.
Shameful indeed.

Our visit with Crown Tours was well choreographed and organized. The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and thoughtful throughout our time there. While entry to Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel was included, St. Peter’s Basilica did not have a guided tour. That said, she was kind enough to tell us about things prior to us going in. I do wish we would have been warned that the catacombs close at 6 pm (18:00) since our tour started at 3 pm (15:00) because we missed seeing St. Peter’s tomb. All in all, very good tour.

This was the worst tour we have ever been on. The guide moved too fast, lost hime a couple of times. we stopped for 45 minutes while he talked in front of a picture. only had about 15 minutes in the actual museum and 10 minutes in the sistine chapel. Next time we will do a self tour with headphones for $5

I took this tour as a birthday present. I really enjoyed myself from the welcome to the end, the guide Marta was excellent and involved everyone from the little ones. She was very professional and passionate about her craft. Unique experience! Thank you crown tours for this spectacular tour.

I really liked the experience with Crown tours, it was well organized, the staff were really nice and welcoming they made the experience way better and easier, we didn’t have to wait in the line and the guide was so informative and easy going i would choose to have more experiences with crown tours in the future
