Romy was an excellent guide! In about two hours, she gave us an amazing overview of Van Gogh's life and work. While hundreds of others in the museum tried to make sense of it all, Romy enabled us to leap-frog the crowds, gather around specific pieces, and learn not only about the unique context of the works but also the techniques that made each one a memorable example.

Jo is a phenomenal tour guide!! She was extremely knowledgeable and made the Van Goth museum my favorite of the Amsterdam trip. I was also happy this tour included a ticket when they were already sold out online.

Our guide Diana was fabulous. She shared amazing insights and details of Vangough’s life, character, and state of mind during his lifetime. She gave many great examples of Vangough’s influences and wonderful stories of his various stages during his artistic career.

We took a semi private tour. Our guide, Cecilia, was very generous and passionate about sharing her abundant knowledge of Van Gogh and surrounding history. Especially the story of his sister in law, Jo, how much she understood him and his art and how hard she worked towards building up his collection to be shown to the public was fascinating.
Even more appreciated the depth of the collection of this Van Gogh museum.
