Our guide Huibert was outstanding! He guided us expertly through the museum taking care of all. He didn’t use headsets which was good for those with hearing aids. His passion for Van Gogh and his work were infectious. Loved it!!

My 13-year-old son and I were both really enriched by our guided tour of the Van Gogh Museum with Hanneke. My son commented, "She was a really good guide. She didn't just remember words to describe what we're seeing. She shared a passion about the life behind what we were seeing." I think he nailed why the experience was so special and appreciated. Very much worthwhile and something that will linger with us both for a long time.

Although the woman who guided the tour was personable, she chose to focus on telling us the biography of Van Gogh’s life rather than focusing on the artwork and the story surrounding the art. We actually sat on benches in the museum looking at art on her iPad instead of spending the time in the museum looking at the actual artwork on the walls!

I took the tour on a Sunday afternoon. According to the tour guide, the museum was not that crowded. I would recommend this tour to anyone who was looking for a highlights tour. Our tour guide, Diana P, did a very good job in explaining not only the history of the paintings, what was going on in VanGogh's life, but also pointed out he use of color and brush strokes in the individual pieces. I recommend this tour for anyone over the age of 10

Tour guide Hanneke was super. Her communications were often and clear before the tour. She is very knowledgeable and very friendly, making the museum experience very enjoyable.

Ewald was our guide and what a wonderful experience. He made the whole tour insightful and interesting. I learned so much about Van Gogh's life and how it influenced his paintings. Ewald was the best and enthusiastic guide. Highly recommended!
