After white water rafting, you will get a clean towel and a water bottle, and we’ll take you to a local restaurant to have a Costa Rica style lunch
Daily tours leave at 08:30 am from La Fortuna for our Class IV White Water Rafting Adventure on the Balsa River and includes round trip transportation from local La Fortuna hotels, all equipment, guides, fruit on the river, towels, water, & costarican lunch. We come back to La Fortuna town at 13:30.
This tour is appropriate for anyone with 5 years and older.

What an adrenaline rush! Rafting down the Upper Balsa River was an experience like no other provided just the right amount of challenge, making it thrilling yet manageable for adventurers of all levels. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we felt safe throughout the journey. This was so exciting!

First and foremost shoutout to our raft driver Juan R. he made our experience 10x better. He made it very thrill seeking and fun. Above all he kept us safe and provided all the needed instructions to get the most optimal ride. After the ride was over they provided us with a great traditional Costa Rican dish. Overall spectacular experience would redo it all over again.

We loved our trip! We felt lucky to have Reyner as our guide - he was quick to point out tropical wildlife like herons, sloths, and howling monkeys. He was an excellent captain and made sure our trip was safe and also extremely fun. Overall we would do the trip again in a heartbeat!

Oscar was a great guide and kept us safe through our journey. He pointed out natural wildlife like birds, plants, etc. Oscar let us ride in the front of the raft which was my most memorable experience. The fruit snack break and lunch was very nice. The company was very organized with snacks, lunch and when people fell out of the rafts. Definitely a must do in La fortuna

I had an absolute blast rafting on the Upper Balsa River! The Class 3/4 rapids were intense but manageable, even for someone with limited experience like myself. The guides were patient and encouraging, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to come back and do it again!
