For those who like simulators, it is the best park in the USA. Island of Adventure has more extreme roller coasters. The ideal is to go to each park for one day.

Easy to redeem the tickets once we got to Universal (literally just went up to our hotel's "Vacation Planning" desk). You will receive printed tickets with your name and other details, valid for the duration of your package.
I only chose to purchase through Trip Advisor rather than direct due to a Rakuten Black Friday promotion to receive 20% cashback. Otherwise, I would have purchased directly from Universal.

This is great if you like simulators and fast rides. I thought the Harry Potter area was incredibly well designed but everything else was meh. Most rides are simulators so meh too. I was expecting a bit more variety after having spent a couple of days at Disney but was truly disappointed. I hopt they add more realistic areas that you can just visit and relax in. We thought the park was actually fairly small.

I paid $1,000 to get into the park. Most are simulators and there are only 2 coasters and 1 spiny ride. So basically you pay a bunch of money so you could just walk around and do nothing because everything else cost extra money except for that you know 4 rides they have available.

A totally rubbish experience. This park needs to decide what it wants to be. Walking down the vibrant citywalk afterwards I realised just how bad the park actually was.

Express pass ripoff make sure they explain before you buy as we thought the extra $500 was for unlimited use ... no 1 and done grab your ankles and shake you upside down then send you home. Don't waste the $$$$$$ so mad I can't see straight last time I visit for sure.
