Hot Springs:The Blue Lagoon is a MUST when it comes to hot springs, it is located very near Keflavik International Airport. We also visited the Sky Lagoon and The Secret Lagoon as well, but The Blue Lagoon was really something special! We cannot wait to go back there!
Car Rental: I do suggest renting a small car since there is no UBER services in Iceland and cab fares can be rather very pricy!!! Having a rented car, allows you to have more freedom and drive around as you wish.
Tours: Chose small tours, it is worth every penny! The Golden Circle Tour is highly recommended, I hope you get the chance of riding with an experienced local tour guide, that makes it even more priceless! We had the pleasure of having Gummi from VIATOR as our Tour Guide and he made a huge difference due to his knowledge and patience!
The food, ahhh the food :) Scrumptiously delicious in absolutely every bite.
Iceland is a very clean country and super worth visiting! For many times I caught myself at complete awe faced with the natural beauty and the landscaping which is being forged out of the inner force of the earth! WHAT A PLACE! What an unforgettable and magical experience!!!

I have seen the blue Lagoon on many Instagram posts and thought oh yeah I’ll give that a go. What a surreal experience it was! The whole experience was Transcendent especially after a couple of beers.The juxtaposition Of being in a hot spa while it was freezing cold outside was sublime in the extreme. If you are going to Iceland you must go to the blue lagoon.

I visited The Blue Lagoon with my teenage daughter for the ultimate spa day.
We had the premium package- robes and extra face masks included and had lunch in the Lava restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit- views were breathtaking.

We spent a very relaxing afternoon in the lagoon and restaurant. Whilst bathing you can get different types of face mask treatments as well as beer, wine and spirits. We had a meal in the restaurant afterwards, and while it is expensive it is a nice place to finish your visit.
