Visit the infamous hidden and supposedly haunted vaults beneath the South Bridge in Edinburgh Old Town. Hear tales of how the poor and unfortunate lived in these former slums. Explore these dimly lit vaults by candlelight, once the haunt of criminals, body snatchers and witches alike, said by some to now be occupied by a few of the spirits of these inhabitants long since dead.
Each vault has stories of crime, disease, death and lots more... with which your guide shall enlighten you in all the gory details! You will see a genuine witchcraft temple, recently used by a Wiccan coven and you will enter their former temple. Join us to learn why it is no longer safe for them to practice their craft in that vault.

This was a great experience! Our guide, Jordan, was fantastic. He knew his history & was able to relate tales of the vaults as well as Edinburgh itself in humorous & interesting ways. The story of the vaults - both their past & their discovery - is fascinating. The tour doesn't take too long so if you have some spare time & want to do something more than the usual Royal Mile tours, I'd highly recommend this.

What a fun and entertaining experience. Our guide Dan was terrific with his creepy tales and expert knowledge. This is the perfect tour for people who enjoy the seedy side of Scotland.

The vaults were fascinating.
The customer service on the day was fantastic. I rang the your company because I thought our guide hadn’t turned up; I know think we were waiting too far up the road! We were transferred to s different time slot really easily.
