David was incredibly helpful through the entire process. He recommended a great bike shop in town for my road bike rental and made sure I had everything I needed for the ride. Planned a great route into the Chianti hills complete with a stop halfway for pastry and many photos. Looking forward to future rides with David!

I've had a dream for many years of riding a bike through the Tuscan vineyards and olive groves. I finally got to make that dream a reality. I found a local bike shop in Florence "Florence by Bike" where I rented a wonderful Cannondale. They recommended a personal guide, David. From the moment David and I started corresponding, I knew this was going to be a great adventure.
David customized a route for us through the Chianti region of Tuscany. I had rented a car while I was in Tuscany, so it made it easy for me to drive out to the starting point of our trip. David knows this region so well that he was able to share a lot of the local history - like why there is a black rooster on all of the Chianti wine bottles - and much more. We had a moderately big day planned, but when he asked if I wanted to visit a cute town that would allow for more climbing, I didn't hesitate to say yes.
I certainly did more than I had planned, but it was well worth it. David is a great, knowledgeable guide that I wouldn't think twice about hiring again. In fact, I hope to be back in the region in the fall and will definitely make sure to book a trip with him again.
When I envisioned riding my bike through vineyards and seeing the Tuscan countryside, this is exactly what I had pictured. Thank you David!

David's tours are top shelf! I've been planning to ride with him since just before the pandemic so finally being able to pedal away from Florence en route to Greve was much anticipated.
I had just come from a long ride in the L'eroica event in Montalcino, so I was a little reluctant to 'engage' in more hilly rides. David picked the absolute best route, which culminated in a enjoyable 25km descent amidst the warm Tuscany and the smell of jasmine.
David knows these roads like the back of his hand. And judging from my experience and the words of others he certainly knows and appreciates the comfort level of his clients.
All in all, the ride with David was the best 'cap' to my time in the area, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend his services to riders of all skill levels.
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to riding with David again in the near future.

Mark (Which is David’s associate) was very friendly and helpful. It was raining the first day, but he patiently guide us through nice area of the Tuscany! But then the second day it was jice sunny day, we went up to Panzone and ger some burger and drink some wine! It was very memorable two days with vista cycling

I had a wonderful ride with David and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a more traditional cycling experience while in Florence. David was a wonderful guide and cycling partner and since he tailors the ride for the rider's fitness and experience, I didn't have to worry about it being too difficult. To be honest, I was slightly worried after climbing out of the Florence valley because my legs already felt fried. Thankfully, we had a short pastry/coffee stop and I was able to draft off David for a lot of the second half. I saw some amazing Tuscan scenery during my 41-mile ride and I already look forward to booking another ride with David.

I had a wonderful 3 hour ride with David, starting at Greve in Chianti. David planned the perfect route, for what was my first ride in this region, and made the whole ride fun and enjoyable, despite my lack of enthusiasm for the steeper climbs. He also recommended the perfect pre-ride café, Pasticceria Chianti, for the essential coffee before cycling. Finally, he provided gpx files for future self-guided rides. Thank you David.

Our group had an amazing bike ride from Florence to Siena. It was the perfect way to spend the day. David was an amazing guide. He made sure we were safe and comfortable. We stopped and spent time in a couple of charming towns for some wine tasting and the ended the bike ride with a wonderful lunch in Siena. We highly recommend doing a tour with David on your next trip to Italy.

David was so friendly and knowledgeable of the routes through the amazingly picturesque Tuscan mountains. My personal highlight was the spontaneous detour to the town of Vinci, home of Leonardo da Vinci - of course! The scenic rolling Tuscan hills and stunning sunsets will remain imprinted on my mind forever! Thanks for an unforgettable day David!
