Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke English clearly. In our one-hour-ish tour, we didn't get overwhelmed by the sheer plethora of paintings, as she selected the highlights and we learned so much from each explanation. The paintings would be meaningless without a guide. Thank you!

Sore feet from waiting around! Waited too long to get in. Don’t pay the extra money to go straight to the front. It is a scam. The guide was boring and hard to understand!

After a Union meeting which closed gallery until 11am our 10am trip was cancelled. Tour operator made contact and allocated an 11am tour. Not fault of operator but it was around 12.15 before we finally entered.
Group of 8. A couple disengaged early leaving 6: a very manageable group.
Acknowleding that tour leader was charming and extremely knowledable after such a long wait,he failed to read the fatigue and disengagement of remaining participants and whilst accepting his vast knowledge of the few paintings on which he held his discourse it was obvious that this small group would rather have seen more and not had to hear such long discourse on a few paintings.
We were scheduled to leave Florence early afternoon and were not able to explore after the tour. Scheduled to start 10am finished 1.45pm
Our overnight visit was only for Uffici and we feel very disappointed.

Alice was a great host and tour guide and provided brilliant recommendation. Loved each of the individual tastings and pairings and the option to purchases from local businesses. Recommend a light meal before hand, the dinning options are smaller servings.

Unfortunately the “skip the line” is simply not true. Our meeting was at 1pm we entered uffizzi gallery at 1.40pm. The guide was excellent but the main reason we chose this and paid 65 euros per person was to avoid waiting…

We were able to learn and make the most of our time at the gallery! We would’ve been wandering around and overwhelmed without a guide to show us the incredible history behind iconic works of art, worth it!
